“Superfly” Jimmy Snuka has been diagnosed with stomach cancer and underwent surgery this past Friday. The surgery involved removing part of his stomach and lymph nodes.

According to his wife Carol in an interview with Bill Apter, doctors told Jimmy that the surgery was a complete success, but that he has a long way to go. She says that he’s not done yet, he will be back and visiting with fans again as soon as he is ready to go.

Sad news but glad the operation was successful. Hope he will overcome this.

When I first read the thread title, it said (says) Jimmy Skuna and I thought to myslef "Who?" and then I came into the thread and found out it's Jimmy Snuka.

Hope he defeats cancer, though.

Indeed thank god that the surgery went well, because let's be honest, last thing we need at this point is another wrestling death
