Jim Ross disappears completely, out of the general public eye... but there's a comment from HBK's retirement that rings like a bell...

The new GM hand-selected Michael Cole, knowing the fans would turn on him... and boo him like no other when he starts reading from the laptop... but the things the GM says get pops.

Michael Cole has tried to play a face even still, defending favorites of the company, but selecting a few heels (Miz in particular) to support.

Then comes Edge's comment about rather listening to a recording of JR opposed to Michael Cole reading off a computer.

I can't imagine we'd hear Jim Ross' name on programming if he was going to be strictly back-stage. How often do we hear about Dean Malenko, Arn Anderson, etc.?

Jim Ross will eventually make his return... he'll have a problem with Cole... Cole will officially turn heel...



...I'd be surprised if it was anyone BUT Ross at this point.

Yes. We need to stop dreaming of a return from Austin or Rock... it's never going to happen.

To pull the wool over the sheep's eyes? These things (minus the Cena being forced to work for Nexus) are meaningless in the GM's shoes when he appears. And even the Cena thing can be played off as, "you're the face of this company, you accepted the stipulation, be a man of your word". There can be a shakeup, a twist to the plot... we're still watching storylines unfold. Think about it... Vince outcasts JR, pushes Michael Cole on us, Vince gets taken out... Nexus was JR's way to the top, to get his way back onto programming... and the feud between Cole and JR could be enough for JR to return to pops with the heat Cole gets... people won't care about the Nexus shit... JR doesn't even have to continue doing business with Nexus when he returns.

I think it would be Blue if Nexus and JR were working together....if anything, that would make JR a heel......and I doubt he would do that and it would be gay if he suddenly stated that he was just using Nexus to get back in and he really didn't support them.

Im sick of Cole too. Also one think that comes to mind on the mystery gm's part is, why is he hiding? Theres no way he is a respected star, and if somehow he is, he won't be after hiding behind a computer for this long. Watch it be some loser like Mathews or watch it really be Cole. I honestly wish Edge had beaten the shit out of Cole a few weeks ago though.
