Jim Hettes vs. Steven Siler added to UFC on FX 4 in Atlantic City

A featherweight contest between young prospects Jim Hettes (10-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) and Steven Siler (20-9 MMA, 2-0 UFC) has been added to June's UFC on FX 4 event.

UFC officials today announced that both fighters have agreed to the matchup and bout agreements are expected to be finalized shortly.

UFC on FX 4 takes place June 22 in Atlantic City, N.J., likely at the new Revel Atlantic City resort, with a Clay Guida vs. Gray Maynard headliner.

The night's main card airs on FX, and FUEL TV is expected to carry the prelims. It's not clear where Hettes vs. Siler will end up on the lineup.

Hettes made his octagon debut this past August, taking a late replacement fight with Alex Caceres. Hettes earned a second-round submission win in the matchup and then followed up the result with a December win over Nam Phan.

Just 24 years old, Hettes is undefeated through the first 10 fights of his career.

Meanwhile, "Super" Siler has also earned back-to-back victories in the UFC, scoring decision wins over Cole Miller and Josh Clopton. Just 25 years old, the experienced Siler is now 15-2 in his past 17 fights.

With the addition to the card, UFC on FX 4 now includes:

Clay Guida vs. Gray Maynard
Brian Ebersole vs. T.J. Waldburger
Jim Hettes vs. Steven Siler
Ricardo Funch vs. Dan Miller
Rich Attonito vs. Rick Story
Luis Ramos vs. Matt Riddle
Chis Camozzi vs. Nick Catone

Both guys surprised and impressed the hell out of me in their last fights, Hettes dominating Nam Phan and Siler beating Cole Miller, and I think they both have a lot of potential so this should be a good one.
