WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler's first singles match is advertised for September 7 in Covington, Tennessee at Crestview Middle School. Lawler will face Mike Rapada in the main event the show, which also features Lawler's son Brian Christopher vs. Doug Gilbert.
Lawler suffered a heart attack during Raw on September 10, 2012. He worked a tag match with Dory Funk, Jr., but this is scheduled to be his first singles match since the heart attack. He is also advertised for a singles match at a September 13 event in Tunica, Mississippi.
