I don't know if anyone else noticed but Chris Jericho has added 2 new dates to his book tour. The first is October 29th in Philadelphia, the same city that hosts RAW that night. The second is October 30th in Long Island, The same location as that nights Smackdown!/ECW taping. [Thanks to Eliot Bell]
I attended the WWE RAW taping this past Monday in Birmingham. I think WWE felt bad about the signs that had been confiscated because after Heat was taped they sent wrestlers out into the hallway to meet and greet the fans. Ron Simmons, Henry Smith, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, and Super Crazy were some of the stars they sent. I also thought it should be noted that during his entrance, HBK knocked over the pyros and they had to be set back into place before he entered. [Thanks to Michael Smith]

TNA In Talks With Over 10 Former WWE Stars?
Despite the fact that TNA Wrestling just added a new Women's division and already has a great deal of underutilized talent on their roster, the company is currently in talks with several free agents.
TNA Mobile sent out an alert this week stating that the company is in talks with Scott Hall, Brian Christopher and Scotty 2 Hotty. Scott Hall has lost a lot of weight and has been wrestling in Puerto Rico. With Kevin Nash on the verge of signing a new contract with TNA to wrestle, there have been reports that Nash has been pushing TNA to bring in his former Outsiders partner.
As I reported here this morning, the company is also looking to bring in 2 Cold Scorpio. Scorpio was signed to a WWE contract after ECW was revived, was never used on television and was released this summer.
TNA Bound For Glory saw the debut a new tag team made up of former WWE stars - Joey Mercury (as Joey Matthews) and Johnny Swinger (as Johhny Perisi). There have been rumors that TNA has talked to Sean Waltman, Sabu and Psycho Sid.
Booker T is all but confirmed to make his TNA debut shortly.
One of the biggest names that could be headed to TNA is Rob Van Dam. Van Dam has been a free agent for several months and we can confirm that he's talked with TNA management about working for them.

- According to several live reports, WWE SmackDown superstar Chris Masters could have been injured during his tag match with Finlay against The Undertaker and Kane at the Nottingham, UK house show. Masters was removed from the bout by medical staff with the match continuing as a handicap match. We do not have any further details at this time but will pass them along when they become available.
- The Fabulous Moolah recently underwent an eye transplant and is scheduled to have a shoulder replacement sometime in the near future.

WWE’s primary goal with their ECW brand is to get the television ratings up enough so they can get a contract renewal with the Sci-Fi Network. With the recent announcement that SmackDown names will be showing up on ECW and vice versa, this is a tactic to try and improve the ratings. If the company does not get a renewed television contract for ECW on Sci-Fi they would move ECW TV to WWE.com and keep their international television clearances for the series.
At this point the entire brand’s future remains up in the air and a year from now the letters ECW could mean as much as names like Heat or Velocity. There has been some talk of making WWE SmackDown head creative team writer Michael Hayes the head of ECW creative as well. This would further lead one to believe that the company is serious about slowly merging back into two brands, RAW and SmackDown.
