-I can now confirm that Chris Jericho will be involved in a summer feud with The Undertaker over on SmackDown!. This news is first being reported here on WZROnline.com.

Plans call for a SummerSlam match between the two. More tonight on WZR Radio from 7-9EST right here on WZROnline.com!

-» Batista's return to WWE at the Monday Night Raw taping in Houston, TX (the night after WrestleMania 25) took place because he told the company he was way ahead of schedule with his physical therapy and wanted to get back in the mix as soon as possible. He had requested time off last year before suffering the injury citing burnout, but they asked him to stay a little longer. They were forced to write him off TV when he had the hamstring injury. Batista has been working out at the FCW gym in Tampa, FL to work on ring rust and many noted how much bigger he looked upon his return. Some have stated that an early return from an injury probably wasn't the smartest decision if he wants to have a longer career, but he did state in a recent interview that he may only have one solid year left in him.

A Jericho vs Taker feud would be sick, if it does indeed happen. Also, even though it was reported before, it makes me sad every time I hear Batista say he only has a year left :shifty:

Beer Money Army will be happy.

Although i would think Kane/Taker would happen rather soon.

So, Y2J vs Taker comes confirm by the most unreliable source out there? Lol, even if it would be sick, I don't buy it. I don't know why, but I would prefer that match at Mania

who cares? Its Taker/Y2J... two matches I MUST see before I die as of right now... Taker/Y2J and Taker/Cena

Haha yea I remeber buying that PPV same one where Eddie won. I'm thinking he means a newer one as when they went at it before Cena was way early in his career. Also Taker vs. Y2J would be a pretty good match we'll just have to wait and see if it happens.

Taker/Cena has happened like twice, in 03 I think and on RAW once.

^They fought on Smackdown too, and Cena gave Taker the hands and Taz almost killed himself when Cena put Taker on his ass with a right haymaker.

They've fought quite a few times, but I guess Cena wasn't really a champion yet? I'd like to get a list of how many matches they've had against each other now though.

Taker/Cena has happened like twice, in 03 I think and on RAW once.

I think it happened in early 2007 during the Raw main event vs. SD Main Event fued, and when Paul Heyman was "controlling" Undertaker for a few weeks back in 2004.

April 10, 2003 - Smackdown!: John Cena defeated the Undertaker in the second round of the #1 Contenders Tournament..

July 27, 2003 - Vengeance: The Undertaker kicked out of the FU, and Last Ride Powerbombed John Cena for the win!

June 24, 2004 - Smackdown!: The Undertaker defeated John Cena after knocking him out cold with a Steel Chain!

October 9, 2006 - RAW: An angle played out to set up John Cena vs King Booker vs The Big Show at the upcoming Cyber Sunday..
~~~The Big Show defeated Jeff Hardy | King Booker defeated Rob Van Dam | John Cena vs The Undertaker was a No Contest..
That's all the time's they've fought 1 on 1.
Haha I remeber the third one, that's when I was still unaware on how wrestling worked so I hated Taker for months for using the chain on Cena lolz.
I'd like to see Taker/Y2J run a WM program without a doubt, but Taker/Cena is undoubtedly WM-worthy and none of us know how many WMs Taker has left...
Even if we get those few 'dream' Taker matches before retirement, the guy's only got so many WMs left and pressumably he'll be retiring at one (and let's not entertain the idea of Cena being the one to retire him) so the options are limited. Hense why we probably will see Taker/Y2J run around Summerslam time.
Think we need a Taker/Cena feud. It's kinda hard for them not to have some what of a feud when they're on the same show and we can take some much Cena/Edge or Cena/Jericho.
*After watching their Vengence 2003 promo* WE NEED A TAKER/CENA FEUD but not for the title.
