Today's Baltimore Sun has a long interview with Chris Jericho. He all but says he's returning to wrestling, but doesn't say where, and I doubt he will say where until he's on TV. Unlike Bill Goldberg and Brock Lesnar, he said he's very happy when TNA mentions his name on broadcasts. He said if he goes back, he's working a full schedule and also talked about his doing comedy, doing a play in Toronto, scripted interviews and his book.

Rob Van Dam was in England today at a memorabilia show. He said he's taking a hiatus from all wrestling. He said if and when he comes back, it could be TNA or WWE and he doesn't know right now.

Source: Wrestling Observer

Of course the reports had more news, but these were the highlights. I wish both men return to WWE.

A Jericho return would be one of the best returns the industry cold get right now. That said judging by the picture that was posted of him recently he doesn't look much like a wrestler and especially not one who will be back anytime soon. Still even if he returned at 400 pound with a bold head he'd still have the most charisma in the industry.

Jericho vs. Kennedy for WWE Title. That would be a good match! But SmackDown would need Jericho.

Thats great news for the wrestling company that can snap him up (hopefully WWE) they should send Trips to Smackdown and Jericho to RAW, but Triple H's ego will get in the way.

Nowhere in that interview did Jericho CONFIRM he is returning to wrestling. He stated that he has a new found passion for the business and may return in the future with either WWE or TNA (and is also a fan of ROH), but at no time did he confirm his return.

Chris Jericho said:
"I like Ring of Honor as well. I have my favorites in all three of those groups and it’s fun to watch all three of them because, first and foremost, I’m a wrestling fan."

Jericho's a ROHbot :D

a Jericho return would be huge for the WWE. but i dont want him to go to WWE because all that would happen is he'd have a big fued at the beginning, then most likely get squashed by Cena or Khali then fade into nothingness. i want him to go to TNA, and hopefully RVD goes there too.

list of matches that would be pretty awesome if Y2J went to ROH:

Jericho vs Nigel
Jericho vs AmDrag
Jericho vs KENTA
Jericho vs Storm (both make a one-off)
Jericho vs Aries

I see him doing more in WWE and ROH than in TNA, the roster is too big.

Go back to the biggest wrestling company in the entire World, where he could be (one of) the top guys ... or go to a small-time promotion and be used horribly, feuding with Kurt Angle and Christian for the 1000th time ... Hmm. Tough question.

^^Exactly, if Jericho came back to wrestling in TNA, he won't get half the popularity (or cash) than if he was in WWE. It's a case of TNA needing Jericho more than Jerichop needs them. It would help TNA but not Jericho but if he moves to WWE it helps both parties.
