As someone who became a wrestling fan around the time of Jeff's first ascent to the world title, to see him now has been rough. Addiction, yeah, it's a disease, it's not fun, but that has gotten in the way of multiple of his runs over the years and once you have multiple DUI's, you begin to lose sympathy. That screwed over his AEW run but even if he stayed Sober, he and Matt were just too beat up. The Hardy's and Bucks had multiple good to great matches against each other across the independents and ROH, but their Double or Nothing match was rough, Jeff being the one who stuck out a lot for the wrong reasons. I think Matt being under his Broken gimmick now in TNA's a good thing because he can rely more on crowd reactions and the creative side rather than wrestling each week. I know Sky will hate it, but TNA with Matt right now might be the best route if he stays wrestling.
Otherwise, genuinely, retire. Retire, seek therapy and other supports as a way to stay healthy and happy, and pursue other passion projects. Enjoy art and music, spend time with family. At this rate, that's all I want. For Jeff to stay healthy and not do something that'll kill him or someone else.
