These squash matches he's been having leading up to wrestlemania 25 have been sick. Jeff Hardy is sick in these hardcore matches. His creativity has been great. Thumbs up to the jobbers who've helped make him look good as well. I think when it comes to hardcore matches nobody in the WWE does as good as Jeff at the moment. Does anyone agree or have someone who they think does a better job than him in this sort of situation?

Shame about the current gimick, but Finlay kicks ass in a no DQ environment.

Re: Jeff... To be honest, I think you hit the nail on the head... Big up the jobbers.

I can't really see it's necessary to see Jeff this much more dominant than Matt at this juncture... UNLESS the plan is classic booking psychology and it's MATT whose going over at WM.

Jeff is amazing in hardcore matches does anyone remember Jeff Hardy vs Matt Hardy, Smackdown 2001 I think in a hardcore match for the Harcore Title Jeff cam up with pretty original stuff in that match.

^^^Good shout..... Without a doubt one of the most genuinely entertaining hardcore title matches in WWF/E.

It's a bit backwards the fact that they're giving the face squash matches leading into the PPV. As Airfixx said, they could be building Jeff so hard just so when they have Matt go over him he looks that much better for doing so. Jeff almost reminds me of a more coordinated Sabu sometimes when he's in a hardcore match..lol

Lol i thought you was being sarcastic. Is it me or has Matt hardy not wrestled since no way out? Surely he is going to have at least one match going into Wm25. Jeff is good in these matches but i think Matt will win via a sick move to jeff hardy. Purely then making the feud go on longer.

I think once or twice... I know he had a match with Jeff. And he also has a match tonight against Killings.
It's almost like when we hadn't seen the WWE title for a fucking month after NWO..lol.

He's the only person atm who is really being given a chance to display his hardcore match ability. I really miss the hardcore division and think they'd benefit from bringing it back. I guess increasing injury rate worries them, but the division was so entertaining and successful.

*Reminisces on Crash vs. Hardcore Holly in 24/7 stip.*

I wish I could find video of Hardcore suplexing Crash on top of the 18 wheeler. So fucking incredible!

What would everybody do if Jeff Hardy won. Even though they will probably out over that piece of shit Matt Hardy. In my mind I think Jeff Hardy is the better Hardy. Matt is just plain. His ring work is average. He mic skills suck. and he has no charisma.

On the other hand. Jeff Hardy has great ring work. He has average mic skills and he has all the charisma. He made the Hardy Boyz not Matt Hardy.

Yeah, but the problem is that Jeff can get over on all that alone. Matt is really at the point in his career where he needs a boost and it's now or never. A win over Jeff at Mania could really give him the momentum he needs to try and make it in the main event scene at least for a while.
I concede, what you said is true, Jeff is better in the ring and had more charisma, however he is very one note. I think Matt has the ability to do a lot more than Jeff can as far as character development, which at this point in his career would mean a lot. Jeff has already had one reign as WWE champ, and although it was booked to look like a disaster in all honesty...it was a disaster anyway.

Matt has mic skills. The problem is his charisma. Nobody buys shit he says. Jeff's mic skills are fucking hideous and he sounds like a young punk talking in a youtube video.

You may think he mic skills are hideous there still better that whatever shit comes out of Matt Hardy's mouth. Instead of talking he should open mouth and insert boot.

Now noumenon said that Matt Hardy needs Jeff Hardy to put him over. I still don't think it will work. Because after Jeff Hardy puts Matt Hardy over who's going to be the next guy to make Matt Hardy look better.

Alright... I really think that there is a big difference between winning a match and being PUT OVER. I simply think that Matt needs to come out of this program on top...match wise. Sure, let Jeff go ahead and destroy him post match or the next week on Smackdown, whatever. I'm not saying that a victory over Jeff will do worlds for his status but it couldn't hurt. As I said in the thread about Matt's future... I really think if Cena does indeed move to Smackdown with the WHC it would be a good idea to let Matt have first shot at him. It would truly allow us to see if he can work as a decent heel in a main event situation and would truly be a trial by fire for Matt. What's the worst that could happen? We'll either see a possible new main eventer born or we'll see Matt slide back down to mid-card where he's always been. The end
