Jeff Hardy's drug arrest went before the Grand Jury yesterday in Moore County, North Carolina. The Grand Jury found that there was enough evidence to indict Hardy, and the case will now move to superior court. Hardy's case is expected to be set on the docket within the next week.
Hardy was originally set for a probable cause hearing on January 27th for his September 2009 drug charges. The hearing would have determined whether there was enough evidence regarding the arrest to go on the Grand Jury. The hearing is not required, and it appears as if prosecutors have opted to move the case along through the Grand Jury.

Hardy's was arrested for the following charges on 9.11.09:

*Felony possession of cocaine.
*Felony drug trafficking of opium
*Felony possession with intent to redistribute a Schedule III drug (two counts).
*Maintaining a dwelling for drug use and/or distribution.
*Possession of drug paraphernalia. (misdemeanor)

Not good news for Jeff or his new employers.

Did anyone even think to tip off TNA that Jeff Hardy was in the middle of a drug scandal? Or was Hogan just like "OMGWTFBBQ" and signed Jeff Hardy immediately without research.

I'm a huuuuge Jeff Hardy fan. But this is going to already put a hurting on TNA where TNA doesn't need anyone hurting.

Maybe his sentence will be community service or something. Nobody really knows until the facts come out. As of right now Jeff is TNA.

TNA had no problem signing Jeff Hardy last time because they were still a small-time promotion. With the likes of Nancy Grace and Sean Hannity ready to call the MORALITY POLICE~ on the WWE, I can't help but think with all of the Hogan and Spike TV hype, that TNA will now be getting similar scrutiny. Personally, I think it's his own life and he should be able to act how he wants without such judgement from media personalities. But, that's not the world we live in. If this story gets any sort of national press, it could put TNA on the map for the wrong reasons.

Hall, Hardy, Raven, Stiener-TNA- we are druggies.

You don't get community service for Felony Possesion /trafficking/ with intent to distribute. Vick fought dogs and did time, Burress had a gun and is going to do time. Both of these dudes are way more famous and have tons more money than Jeff will ever be/make and their crimes were far less serious than Mr. Pusher Man here. The media is tired of celebrity athletes skirting the law, the law is tired of them skirting the law and this is some serious, serious shit. This is way beyond simple crack and crack pipe business, this is Hardy making an attempt to be a drug ring leader with some hard. That's five felonies. FIVE. And with drug charges, before a drug case can even go to a grand jury hard evidence has to be there, and it's there, they took his shit and had a sting operation on the dude. More than likely he's going to make a very nice penis pillow in prison.

Maybe that's why when he and Useless Moore were leaving the Impact Zone with contracts, Jeff was saying "maybe." Sucks for him, sucks even more for TNA because he was the only true major player they brought in last night that could help with actual wrestling, now they may have shot themselves in the foot.

Most of these celebrities that get caught are able to get smaller sentences because they pay them off. Donte Stallworth KILLED someone and only got 30 days in jail and 2 years house arrest because the family took however much millions he gave them.

Does Hardy have that type of money that isn't laced with cocaine?

Well that didn't last long.. LOL

Sucks to hear this news especially how Hardy's return was one of the key moments of Monday's Impact.. This is really gonna put away much needed momentum from TNA..

Yeah, I kind of thought this was a little ill advised on TNA's behalf. If he is found guilty not only is it going to cost them someone who could potentially be a top star but bring tons of negative media attention to TNA at the worst possibly time.

Jeff was Vince's secret weapon. He contacted Linda Hogan who discretely contacted Hulk's maid. While cleaning his house one day then planted a copy of Jeff's new DVD in Hogan's DVD player and set it to play when he turned the TV on. Once Hogan saw this and his interest in Jeff was sparked the seeds were sets. Vince gave TNA a ticking time bomb of crystal meth and cocaine.....
LOL...sorry.

If anything CM Punk's promo will be EPIC.

You never know, Hogan and friends may back Hardy up with some money to get out of major jail time. I wonder who turned Hardy in though, I remember reading a report saying the cops checked Hardy's home due to a major tip.

Then again they probably knew he had drugs before and decided to check to make a major bust.
