TNA star Jeff Hardy is checked into jail yesterday to begin serving his 10-day jail sentence as part of the guilty plea he agreed to stemming from his 2009 drug arrest.
Hardy was arrested back on 9/11 after cops raided his home and found a lot of drugs. Hardy was charged with multiple felonies, but recently struck a deal with prosecutors and pled guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy to traffic. In change for the guilty plea, he was sentenced to 10 days in jail, 30 months of probation and a $100k fine.
Sources close to Hardy told TMZ over the weekend, Jeff wanted to get his jail sentence over with, so he showed up to jail on Monday morning. The 34-year-old Hardy, who took a new mug shot upon arrival to the jail, was listed at 6’1″ and 215 lbs.
