JBL's history making moment

So, what's everyones prediction on what it is? I saw in a news report he said it's not that he will be defending the IC title. He may still defend it, but that won't be the big moment. So what do you think the history making monment will be for JBL at Mania?

I don't think it's going to be as mindblowing as they're billing it. I think it will simply he that he's planning on retiring as the Intercontinental Champ.
From that, one of two things could actually happen...
He will actually retire as champ
He'll be forced to defend and drop the title at Mania.

I think that the ic title might go to smackdown with him during his short stay after the draft and retire with it. And the us title will be on both shows. Or it will just be jbl retiring at Wm25.

I think with the mid card struggling as it is and the US title not really serving any purpose at all it might be beneficial to merge the IC and US in coming months. And perhaps let it serve as a mobile television title with the occasional PPV defense.

I think what the WWE will do is have him retire as champion at 'Mania and they'll hold a tournament after 'Mania and crown a winner. Normally I'd say crown a winner at the next PPV (Backlash) but this is WWE, they won't necessarily do that.

That however, is what I think WWE would do judging by their mind. What I'd like is a shock. I love shocks in wrestling and I mean a real shock not just WWE's pissy little ones, WWE's 'WOW!' ones. We haven't had one in a while.

You can do a lot of things with the JBL character as he's very wealthy and money can make anything happen.. anything.
