Gimmick & Backstory: Jay Washington, the man who the fans call "The One" has been wrestling since he was just 14 years of age, even though the wrestling he did to start with was just backyard wrestling for a youtube channel. He started properly training when he had just turned 17 as his Father was a former world champion in a few notable indie promotions so he received training from his Father. He joined a wrestling training centre when he was 18 and then he moved onto actual wrestling, fighting in small high school gyms and in barely clean rings in the middle of baseball fields. Through the indies, Jay gained a lot of traction and it appeared as though he would be sent straight to the big leagues but then one-day injury struck. He was just 20 years of age when he tore his ACL and it put him out for nine months. After the nine months of heavy recovery and rehab, he came back better than ever. He swore that he will do his Father proud and become a World Champion. Now he is a free agent and looks to be on his biggest journey yet and maybe to the biggest promotion that he has ever been to, Liberty or Death Wrestling.
In-Ring Attire: Jay wears camo trunks that sport various shades of blue. The trunks have the word "Washington" across the front. On the back, it says "The One". He wears blue elbow pads on each arm and black hand tape on each hand. He wears blue armbands that have long tassels on that are also blue. He wears blue knee pads and black boots that also have tassels on which are blue.
Entrance Attire (if applicable): Along with his normal in-ring attire, during his entrance, Jay wears a blue jacket with a black stripe going up the back.
Theme music: Evalyn Awake - Nothing Remains.
Entrance: The arena is completely dark until 0:33 and then they come on to reveal Jay stood on the stage smiling at the fans. He looks around the arena and begins walking down the ramp in a positive manner whilst high fiving some fans. He continues down the ramp until he gets to the ring where he climbs up the ring steps, takes a few steps along the apron and then gets in through the middle rope, after getting into the ring Jay goes up to each side of the ring ropes and lifts both hands up with one finger on each raised and then he goes to a corner.
