ok, I am not one to bitch and moan about things. Actually, I really like most of what TNA has been doing lately...but this? This Jay Lethal vs Sonjay Dutt feud has been garbage, and I'll tell you why. First of all, they had a decent match at Victory Road. It helped set up the feud and even though it had a lame finish, it was still a decent match. Then we had Hard Justice, the worst match on the card by far was...yea, you guessed it, the Lethal vs Dutt man strip match while your tied up in a chain. After this debacle, I think its safe to say that the Lethal/Dutt feud so far, has been epic fail. They are hinting towards a So Cal Val turn, but honestly...who cares? The storyline keeps taking way too many twists and turns, and I don't think the feud has any heat. It might not be too late though, the Chris Harris vs James Storm feud started out with a terrible blindfold match, but in the end the feud turned into one of the highlights of 2007. I think the same can happen with Lethal and Dutt. We all know that these two guys can put on an awesome match, and I think TNA needs to realise that and simplify the storyline, and just let these two guys beat the living hell out of each other with the winner getting Val forever. All this shit about Val turning is not needed.

What do you guys think about this feud? Is it really epic fail? Or do you think TNA can find a way to save it?

Oh jeez, I have been waiting to vent on this topic.

Sonjay Dutt vs. Jay Lethal feuding over Val was the most predictable rivalry for the longest time. 4 Months before it actually started, the fans wanted it to be over. They saw it coming, although they didn't want to see it. The fans were like, okay, let's get this over with, not knowing it was going to be this long and disturbing. They had good intentions in the beginning, but when it comes down to a man on man stripping match? The line has to be drawn. This put a dark shadow on both X-Division stars. Sonjay Dutt is beyond repair not only because of this storyline, but because he has some little children without shirts all around him, not to mention his perverted look on his face constantly. This storyline made Lethal look like a complete douche bag. There was no growth on either side, it's boring, and the man on man stripping match turned it into a bigger laughing stock than it already was. Terrible. Sheer shit.

^100% agreed... this is by far, in my mind, the dumbest and boring-ist storyline/feud I have ever seen. Lethal and Dutt can prove to be dominant in TNA but ended up feuding over Val in a dumb storyline that EVERYONE knew was going to happen and didnt like it in the first place. Its boring and Blue and should be ending soon I hope

Yeah, it was a crapfest. They had wrestled each other before in better matches without the storyline. It was going to be anti-climactic no matter what they did.

this whole thing was a sham from the beginning when they changed their gimmicks. though jay does a great savage impersonation. but their matches suck compared to back then. this whole ladder match to get So Cal Val's ring and her is so reminding me of stacy keebler when test fought steiner.. get real

we know val and sonjay are getting together..

OMG you deserve some rep for bringing up the classic 2003 year long Test vs. Scott Steiner feud, that was one of the worst things I have ever seen.

However, Lethal vs. Dutt top that at being completely homosexual. It is going to be way too hard to find a ring on a string above the ring. What if it swings, that's gunna be a bitch. Thank god it isn't a stripping match.

man that match was horrible. reminded me of mr fuji v howard finkel back in the 80s. oh my god was that horrible

but this time around it seems ok and yes this match at NS will be ok but I still think Val will screw Lethal and get with Sonjay.

and yes please rep me :p

this feud was failicious

i am not a regular TNA viewer, did this feud get any crowd reaction? i dl'ed the Hard Justice strip-chain-rape match juyst to see if it lived up to the neg hype and holy crap was that a shitfest, this feud failed bad, now lets just stop it before a 2 man reverse battle royale is invented to top HJ match

I agree XBA,

My problem with the fued is that didn't Sonjay turn on Lethal before the started, then they became friends again, Yet another Heel turn?? That's what killed it for me. Predictable, hell yeah, but its not always bad when its predictable, although in this case, yes. I think the fact Lethal or dutt are not over too, hurts the fued. Jay Lethal was, but somewhere he lost it. Sonjay never was, never will be. I am surprised he was never released.

I have to agree, I just watched the Black Tie and Chain Match, (WTF?) and it was pretty crappy, tbh TNA have ruined what could have been a good feud with all the shitty twists that I'm supposed to care about. The best part of the feud has probably been the loud FIRE RUSSO chants.

I agree Montana, I thought Sonjay needed to be released after the first World X Cup. The guy sucks nuts and just upped his India gimmick to keep up with Lethal after the PCS. He has no spot in TNA and never will. He is just annoying beyond the point where you want to kick in the TV.

Jay Lethal + Ladder = EPIC

all that needs to be said

Sure it might be a cool ladder match, but half of the ladder match is seeing what is hanging above the ladder. The ring is so small you won't be able to see it no matter how much they zoom in. Are they going to put it in like a zip lock bag or something? I really don't see how this is going to go down at all. Plus, it's Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal. This might be an even bigger fail than the male on male stripfest.

Anyone remember the first Ultimate X where the X kept falling down?...I see that happening w/ the ring  they'll probably lose it and then Russo will come up with something stupid on the spot....again...

I guess you could say that TNA...crossed the line :shifty:
