On Saturday, former NCAA Division I All-American Jared Rosholt punched his ticket for the 2011 ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championships by winning the Over 99kg weight class at the ADCC West Coast Trials.

The 2011 World Championships will take place in Nottingham, England this summer. The list of previous winners includes Roger Gracie, Fabricio Werdum and Demian Maia.The event almost did not take place. At 3:00 p.m. the San Diego National Guard Army was designated an emergency action center due to the natural disaster in Japan. The promoters for the tournament were forced to find a new venue hours before the event was set to take place.
