- In response to online reports that the Carter family is looking to sell TNA Wrestling, Janice Carter, mother of president Dixie Carter, issued a memo to employees on Nov. 1 squashing rumors of sale talks and that her family was fully committed to the organization. However, according to F4WOnline.com, she is lying as multiple sources within the organization have stated that negotiations are currently being held for potential buyers. Furthermore, nearly everyone who has been speculated online, including musician and Resistance Pro Wrestling owner Billy Corgan, is not involved in the negotiations.

It is said that some WWE officials are following the story very closely, with one source quoted as saying “more so than people would ever imagine.” It is not because the sports-entertainment organization is interested in purchasing TNA, but rather because they are curious to know who desires to and what the status will be of some talents (specifically Hulk Hogan and Sting).

^How is this news, since it is a F4WOnline.com (aka Meltzer and co.) story? I don't get it.

Also, you got the title wrong. If this was true, it still wouldn't be Dixie, but her mother - Janice, as she issued the memo.

But anyway, despite Meltzer still not giving up on this story, this is again the rumor at best. History tells us the chances are also pretty high it's a false rumor too.

And lmao, what "status" of Hulk Hogan? He officialy departed from TNA late last month, and confirmed it himself the other day.

Such a tragic man this Meltzer is.... Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing TNA sold to someone else, but on the other hand I kinda wish it doesn't sell until llate next year just so Meltzer can indeed be wrong again.

Dear Staff,

As we embark on our "Where Action Never Ends" 365 initiative, I wanted to take this time to thank you for your dedication and enthusiasm to your company's renewed creative direction. I feel confident that, together, we are marching towards something great - a revolutionary way to experience professional wrestling. With this said, I am aware of the false rumors currently circulating that The Carter Family and Panda Energy is attempting to sell their ownership stakes in TNA Wrestling. An unfortunate aspect of this business is that there are wrestling "reporters" who consistently post "news stories" without proper facts. I want to assure you that these are just rumors and I am committed to TNA and its future. While I typically find that responding to such rumors is a waste of time, I wanted to use this as a moment to express my support and delight for the creative direction we are moving in. Our work has just begun and I look forward to a long and rewarding future with you and TNA.

Warm Regards, Janice Carter

Don't understand why you posted it. Businesses do this all the time. Not saying the rumors are true, but you are as uneducated as all of us. The memo could be lying. It's business to give out memos that say they aren't selling only for their employees to be working for a new boss the next day.

I see where you're coming from, and I might be wrong too about this entire subject (if there is one anyway), but why not post it? I'll post it any day in the week over some BS coming from boring doofus Dave Meltzer.
