Jake Roberts is one of the names that's heavily favored to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame next month. Apparently he will be given a temporary release from his rehab treatment to attend the award show.

There are also rumblings that Scott Hall, who is in the same treatment facility as Roberts, might also attend the ceremony.

Roberts is one of the only wrestlers who openly and publicly accepted WWE's rehab offer, and even sent out a thank you letter to Vince. We don't have an update on Roberts' condition, but Scott Hall is said to be doing exceptionally well and looks forward to mending broken business relationships when he completes his treatment.

Hmm very intresting. I know Jake the Snake really praised Vince for th rehab so I guess I could see this. Although I hope he's doing a lot better. I was watching a documentary on youtube last night, this was a pretty old one in like 1999, and it had Jake in it and he looked like hell so I hope he's cleaned up a little bit. He definitely deserves to be inducted so hopefully this is true. If he does get in this will be a very good show with him, Flair, and the Rock family.

Good. One of the most underrated talents in wrestling history. But I wonder who would induct him?

I disagree that Jake Roberts is underated. Jake is remembered as a great in ring performer who had great ring psychology and was one of the best stick men of all time. He's also remembered as someone who held his own career back by being a raging alcoholic and drug addict who was given several chances to salvage his career and always let himself down.

Personally I loved Jake Roberts in the late eighties early nineties. It'd be great if he was in the HOF. Does anyone know what he looks like at the moment. As there are pictures of him on WWE.com in the "where are they now?" section where he looks quite thin, where as when he did that section with Orton on Raw a few years ago he was massively over weight. I'm assuming those pictures must have been taken since the Raw appearance.

Roberts is definite HOF material.....but there would really be no point if he can't get out of rehab......he's well remembered but at the same time I think he's better remembered for his faults than the good he brought to his performances
