It made headlines on the news too, not a good look for Jacob Fatu.

The Takedown On SI reached out to Jake's Network of Hope to ask for an update on the situation. Director of Development, Jenn Harper, responded with an official statement.

“Jacob Fatu and our organization are addressing this matter privately, beginning with a phone call and heartfelt apology back in May. While the full amount owed hasn’t yet been repaid, we appreciated Jacob’s acknowledgment. It can be tough to face up to your wrongdoings, and we commend him for taking steps toward confronting his.”

He apologized, he's gonna pay it back and WWE probably gonna put an amount on their table as well, especially if the situation gets even more exposure.

Then everyone's gonna forget it in a couple of weeks and everything's gonna be hunky dory again, completely ignoring the fact that it shouldn't have happened in the first place and that WWE continues to only act about scum behavior from their talent if it gathers enough (negative) momentum online and/or in the news.

Wait so he actually did pay them a few months ago (still a year after the incident) but the charity didn't even notice this yesterday when they defended him and said they were working on it
