Jack Swagger DUI & Drug Arrest: What WWE Wellness Policy Could play into this?

Earlier today, TMZ.com broke the story that WWE superstar Jack Swagger was arrested in Mississippi last night after a SmackDown taping and charged with DUI, marijuana possession and speeding (all misdemeanors).

Swagger is in the midst of the biggest push of his career and is scheduled to challenge for Alberto Del Rio’s World Heavyweight championship at WrestleMania 29. It remains to be seen how WWE will respond to Swagger’s DUI & drug arrest, but the following portion of WWE’s Wellness Policy could spell trouble for him:

“Any WWE Talent, who is arrested, convicted or who admits to a violation of law relating to use, possession, purchase, sale or distribution of drugs will be in material breach of his/her contract with WWE and subject to immediate dismissal.”

“Subject” to immediate dismissal does not mean mandatory dismissal. Countless WWE wrestlers have been arrested for DUI in recent years, however the drug possession charge could really hurt him.

Well, the timing is awful. Not only did he completely and unquestionably screw up his push, but it wasn't even the real heart of 'Mania season yet. There's still plenty of time to change the plans and let him get kayfabe-injured out of 'Mania.

Been seeing people mention that his anti-immigration character could play a role in this, with how mexicans are stereotyped to be smuggling drugs across the border, and that that could doom him like it did Serena. Think this part of this is massively overplayed.

But, he was in the doghouse for his general attitude, then falling asleep during a production meeting. WWE was still high on him but they jobbing him out to send a message. Apparently that message wasn't sent, and I can't see this guy keeping his job after this. Later, bro. We'll have fun seeing Cesaro getting pushed in your place.

True but if Swagger was sopost to win at WM29 and win the World Title U CAN KISS THAT GOOD BYE! Del Rio will keep title know made what now if the don't punish Swagger and keep the storyline going. But if that do punish him go in a different storyline. I said Figger win the World Title from Del Rio on Raw it make sense since Figger was close to cash in last win it have not been for Rocad R. As for Del Rio keeping title and just filling Swagger spot with someone else I can't see it Mark Herny just came back from a 9 month injury he should be in that match then again Swagger should not have either! As for a Del Rio/Figger feud at WM29 that would be dumb b/c figger MR.MITB so the only way that would work is if Figger said he is cash in at WM29 like Cena did. Which Figger will not b/c he a heel. He would do a cheat cash in like everyone else other Cena and RVD. So I really fell the only thing that can do if that punish Swagger is Figger win the World Title for Del Rio on Raw and Y2J win the number 1 conder match whatever match that would be in?

It was brought up elsewhere how Bruno might play a part on what happens to Swagger. He agreed to be inducted into the HOF because he was shown proof by Triple H that the business had improved and cleaned it;s act in regards to the drug policy, PG rating, etc. How would it look to Bruno if they just give Swagger a slap on the wrist and still let him compete for the belt at WM after some pretty serious violations?
