Yeah, I heard about this, it sucks. Unless theres the off chance that they get the cash, it really is sad to see them go, they were one of the best in the Indys.

This is a damn shame... People like Punk, Steel and Hero got their start there. Even Mr. Kennedy wrestled there back in the day.

Iam a big fan of ROH so that was all i watched, then i ordered IWA-MS candido cup and fell in love with IWA-MS, its a damn shame that they are going out like this and i hope they make the 4 grand. this can very well be the sandman's 1st and only IWA-MS show.

Greats like Punk, Kennedy, and Hornswoggle worked there...sad to see it go...well...looks like Sandman bankrupt another company, IWA-MS, ECW, is TNA possibly next? But still, I loved the classic IWA-MS moments.

Hmmm, i wonder how much it would cost to purchase the rights to IAW-MS. If i didnt just buy i condo, I'd really consider it.

Finally, some good news.

From the IWA-MS message boards:

We would like to thank each and every one of you that have bought DVDs, tshirts, signed photos etc this week in a great show of love and support to this company. We would also like to thank all of you that helped spread the word on other boards, sites and radio shows.

Your help was a tremendous success this past week. At many times throughout the last week, some other places made us start to feel that it was the loyal IWA Mid-South fans vs. the world and well ladies and gentlemen, we won. Through the past 6 days, we were able to do several things. Through the great generosity of our fans, we will be able to pay our immediate debts with several of our creditors which will enable us to stay in business. We have also been able to secure a sponsorship for television advertisement well into 2008. In addition, we have been able to get another sponsor for things such as flyers, banners and other advertisement tools.

We are certainly not out of the woods yet as we still have outstanding debts but we have made enough to be able to push those debts off into the new year. We are excited with these sponsorships and the generosity of our fans. We can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.

We are going to keep the buy 2 get 1 free DVD sale as a permanent thing till the end of 2007 as a thank you to you guys for being of great help to us. This will hopefully allow us to update our equipment and thus make better product for you (labels on dvds etc).

Once again, thank you for all your support and help. It has reaffirmed my faith in the good of the majority of fans and makes us want to keep fighting to provide quality wrestling to those that still want to see it.

Thanks,

Ian, Mickie, Patti and even Jim

Great news, IWA-MS is one of the only promotions I still watch, albeit not to regularly unfortunatly. Hopefully I can get out of debt enough soon to actually be able to buy some dvds from them soon, I know of quite a few that I've been wanting.
