Is the Fans Revenge thing legit?

I saw so many people posting promos for that match to try and enter, they are all over youtube. I went to TNAwrestling.com and sure enough, you can actually enter to be one of the "fans" at ring side. So this brings up my question, is the fans revenge match legit? The reason I never liked this match was because I knew those people at ringside weren't actually "fans" but now that I see that you can enter, do you think that the lumberjacks are really fans? Could we actually see Bill and Doug as 2 of the lumberjacks in this match?

Lol that's a good question.. I haven't seen a TNA fan's revenge match, but if it's legit.. WOW!!

No it is not. They did the gimmick at No Surrender 2006, where it was Jeff Jarrett vs Samoa Joe. Basically, the 'fans' are local indy wrestlers. I'm not sure if anyone wins off the whole video thing. But I know the rest of them are local indy guys.

^ oh ok. I remember that match, it was ok. That was the PPV where the "big announcement" was Kurt Angle joining TNA..it was a great moment

It might be, and no, Bill and Doug did a promo but they cant win because they're with TNA. See, I think they're under contract because they do the Addicts Show. I would enter but I'm not old enough.

This fans revenge thing is kinda lame if it's not real...but if it is legit this time...wouldn't it be funny if everyone just beat the shit outta the faces instead of the heels?

They can't take that risk, that being one of the reasons it is fake. The others being people could cause injury, or attack each other.
