I remember the day when Vickie took the title of Hornswoggle nearly a year ago. and ever since cruiserweights have been forced to team together like Jimmy Yang and Shannon Moore to fight for the now not-worth-nothing tag titles. and other good high flying talent have advanced to face EDGE for the world title, rey mysterio. remember the times where we have good competitive fights on Smackdown and hey, sometimes on raw? what would wwe need to do to improve the cruiserweight system if the title is brought back. my immediate reaction would be for rey mysterio to compete but Mysterio is too far ahead of the game and is competing for the world title against edge now. Gregory Helms is out on a injury, and all the others aren’t even worth talking about in wwe at the moment. im not saying Mysterio and helms are the best, im saying there the only talent on Smackdown suitable to take the title if it comes back.
Thoughts on what wwe would need to do to improve the cruiserweight title picture is the title returns?

Hell no. I dont want it back at all.... Who do they have for chuiserweights? Helms, Mysterio (who wouldnt be in it cause hes in the ME scene now), Chavo, Nunzio(I guess) and Super Crazy. That is HORRIBLE. And they would probably have 'Swoggle come back and that would be bad as well...
So bringing it back would just be a horrible division and either they would keep it horrible, or they would bring in some japanese guys (if thats even possible?) and get them for the cruiserweight division... Now some people might like that, but I dont because WWE already has way too many guys not being used enough.
So basically, they have only 5 or 6 guys who could be cruiserweights, and it would be a horrible division. So I say no, Id rather they focus on improving, or actually using the tag team division.

I would like to see it back - TNA paved the way with the X Division a couple of years back, but even that had petered out.

If the WWE ever brought the Cruiserweight title back it would be misused as usual. Vince just doesn't like smaller wrestlers.

If they were to do it properly, then to get it back into people's attention, a tournament would be good, with some top-class matches and would see people like London, Moore etc. used to their full potential rather than sinking in the also irrelevant tag team division. before they sort out a 'minor' title like the CW Title, they need to sort out their tag divisions... and fast

After reading 1chibans post, I realized theres actually alot more Cruiserweights than I thought...
You could have Shannon Moore, Jim Yang, Chavo Guerrero, Colin Delaney, Helms, and I guess Super Crazy.
But still, I still think the same thing, because yes, it works in TNA, but theres a reason.
In TNA, the cruiserweights (x division) has alot better wrestlers, who can do better moves and matches.
And also, in TNA their X division guys are also with a persona, and te fans really react to them and enjoy them and give a shit about them... But the WWE guys in the cruiserweight weight class, the matcehs are ok I guess (not really high flying though) and the fans are usually silent. The fans really just dont care about cruiserweights in WWE, so I still think no and as i said, Id rather use some of the guys who arent being used to their full potential right now .

I think they should bring back the title so that were not bored with the same old matchs at ppvs and it'll give them a boost before the world titles are defended (the way they did it on wcw) to put it simply bring back the belt

Although probably forgotten by most fans, I remember some really undderated matches in the cruiserweight division over the last few years. I for one really enjoyed Paul London's run with the belt - his mini-feud with Kidman was good, and I recall a sick bumbp where London was thrown from the ring, he hit his head on the ringpost and he bladed too much - blood everywhere lol. Good times...

if they bring it back, it will just fade away...like it always does. besides they pretty much killed what little creditability the title had by putting it on hornswaggle.

There is absolutely no point at all in bringing it back. The WWE would just ignore the title again, the fans wouldn't care about it, and it would be a waste of space.

The actual division isn't really going to work either. The title would have to be on SmackDown/ECW, so that eliminates Super Crazy from being apart of the division. You are then left with Chavo (who is main eventing on ECW, and isn't going to go back to the CW), Colin Delaney (will probably get tag titles eventually), Shannon Moore, Jimmy Yang, Paul London (on Raw), Brian Kendrick (on Raw) and Gregory Helms (when he returns).

That isn't exactly going to make for a great division when you take out Chavo, Londrick and Super Crazy (well, he doesn't make a difference anyway).

The only CW's who are left aren't really credible, because back when Helms was champ, the others jobbed to him multiple times. So they couldn't really be champ unless Helms wasn't apart of the division.

Basiaclly, if WWE wants a CW division, they have to make the title actually worth something, and have people like Matt Sydal in it. But I don't see that happening.

If they do bring the cruiser weight championship then it should be on ECW and all the losers who are on Smackdown and are apparently doing nothing at all (Jamie Noble, Shannon Moore, Wang Yang etc.) should move on to ECW and it should be considered as the "Extreme" cruiser weight brand.

There is really no need at all of brining the championship back on Smackdown or RAW since it's not really worth it. But ECW might need some ♂♂♂♂e and so this experiment could work.

The cruserweight title IMO needs to be on ECW where it can help a few newbies in the wwe right now ie, delani, kofi, and a few others.
