Now I know it helps the performers, and TNA a lot that they can do one live show and then immediately tape another, but isn't 4 hours of wrestling too much for the crowd? I know I wouldn't want to sit through 4 hours of wrestling, especially when you aren't getting many fresh performers throughout.

What do you think? What other alternatives would TNA have?

Great for the wrestlers as it gives them more time off, but it's got to be rough of the fans. Especially the ones that aren't hardcore wrestling fans. It's hard to sit to through 4 hours of anything, especially if its something you only have a passing fancy for.

Doesn't seem like too much of a hassle for me particularly, since the fans aren't sitting through 4 hours every week.

For this time, it's a right idea. Live show every week? That's too much for TNA to handle financially atm.

Maybe in some future, they can go live on the road every single week, but not now.

What options do they have? SImple, just rotate the wrestlers on live one and taped one so the crowd doesn't get bored of them. Seeing new people after new people come out during a 4 hour period should be a soultion, like they did in Jonesboro. They spared some that worked live taping (Sting for example), then used others on taped one (Magnus, EY, Park).

It's not necessarily a good idea but it is what they can do right now. They don't have the money to do live tapings every week and their easier schedule is a big calling card for talent. I can understand crowds going tired though considering they have to sit through 4 hours at every taping. And unlike a PPV you are likely to get the same guys showing up throughout the tapings instead of always getting something new. At a 4 hour PPV you have one match between two guys, have that done and then you don't see those two again that night. During a taping you get a match with two guys and then have to maybe see the rematch being taped just an hour or so after. That has to be a buzzkill for crowds.

So it's not neccesarily a good idea, but it is the best they can do with what they are given.
