I think he is, it all makes sence. James Mitchell always talks about how its terrible that Abyss shot his father in the back, and then when Abyss didnt reveal the secret a few weeks ago Mitchell said "alright I'll show them then" and then Abyss stopped him by grabbing his neck. I think he was going to take his jacket off to reveal the gun shot wounds. Also, in the Tenay/Abyss sit down interview, Abyss yelled about his mom raising him, not his father. All this leads to the possibility of James Mitchel actually being revealed as Abyss' father. The question is, where would the storyline go from there?

Props to TNA for comming up with a great storyline, even though its been going on for basically the whole year

Yeah, TNA coming with this storyline. Altough I am pretty sure I have seen all of this before.....

Oh yeah, Taker and Kane and Paul Bearer. But of course, the fact that Abyss has more of a Mankind mask and Mitchell may be his dad changes everything

No, I don't think that's the secret. Mitchell said that Abyss' father getting shot thrice was "just the tip of the iceberg." That tells me that it's going to be something a little more tabooed than Mitchell being his father. Tabooed, like, oh say, wait for it....

Abyss was in an incesteous relationship with his mother. This makes just as much sense to me. It would be really bad compared to shooting someone; it's something that Abyss wouldn't want to reveal in his interview with Tenay, and it's a good reason Abyss would swear "my mother raised me!" but his father would actually be the better parent.

Whaddaya say?

It sounds TNAish to me!!

Lol, now that would be a mixture of Kane/Taker/Paul Bearer angle with Katie Vick

Yeah your good old WWE is always right and TNA is always wrong. When I saw the thread title I thought it was quite lame since he shot his father, but now thinking about it there aren't many loopholes to pick on in the feud so far if he really was the father.
