It would seem that TNA Wrestling have finally had enough of the Universal Studios crowd frequently packing out the Impact Wrestling Zone in Orlando, Florida.

According to a tweet from Hulk Hogan this afternoon, we gather that TNA and Spike TV have plans to take Impact Wrestling on the road for tapings, which will undoubtedly make the product look better, give it more of an atmosphere, an increase revenue from merchandise sales and ticket sales and an increase in exposure.

Besides the fact that they let everyone in free, I don't see the need to switch Impact to different venues, unless you can pull crowds like WWE, then it is smart to stick to your home base week in and week out, as that is part of TNA's identiy. On Pay Per View it makes sense to move about, but Impact needs to stay where it is.

So Hogan has spoiled another of TNA's plans on Twitter. Idiot. If this is true then TNA would have wanted to issue a press release to announce it and Hogan has screwed them over.

Going on the road for PPV's is a must. Moving Impact is good but only if they book smaller venues and don't try to run the same arenas as WWE. Pick venues with seating of a couple of thousand and work to fill them. It would be good to get away from that Impact crowd which can be pretty annoying.

High school gyms are free in the summer. That is really the only thing I can see Impact selling out.

The fact that they're going on the road is great for them as long as they can expand the audience that they're currently reaching right now.

It'll be a nice changeup to see them get the hell out of the Impact Zone. If I remember right, when they went to North Carolina and taped from there, wasn't it a much better show?

Let's hope that continues with them continuing to go on the road.

Adding a new audience obviously adds a new level excitement not only for the performers but for the audience members themselves since they haven't seen the same people in the same bullshit storylines for how many months on end.

TNA can barely get anyone at their house shows. Impact on the road would not result in a different outcome.

But the Impact zone screams indy fed, so it would have to eventually try and get out of there to look like a big company.
