Here are the quarter hour ratings from the May 9th edition of TNA iMPACT! Wrestling. The show did hours of 0.91 (0.9) and 1.06 (1.1) for an average rating of 0.98 (1.0) ….

First Hour Break Down
Q1: Impact opened with another poor rating of a 0.80, capturing Spike TV’s decision to shift Impact back to 9:00 p.m. EST at the end of the month. The last five weeks, including this week, Impact has opened with a 0.75, 0.81, 0.83, 0.85, and 0.80 rating.

This week’s segment featured Sting and Kurt Angle calling out A.J. Styles, who walked away, and one commercial break.

Q2: Impact remained in the doldrums with a 0.87 rating for this week’s Knockouts segment, which included a tag match, and one commercial break.

Q3: Impact jumped to a 1.02 rating for Bully Ray dressing down D-Lo Brown, Magnus vs. D.O.C., and one-and-a-half commercials.

Q4: Impact swung back down to a 0.95 rating for an Aces & Eights follow-up segment, Hulk Hogan backstage, ring introductions for the Second Hour main event, and one-and-a-half commercials.

Second Hour Break Down
Q5: Impact peaked with a 1.11 rating for Daniels & Kazarian vs. Roode & Aries with James Storm as special referee, Magnus attacked backstage, and only half of a commercial, which helped the quarter-hour rating.

Q6: Impact dipped below the 1.0-level with a 0.98 rating for a Suicide vignette, Chris Sabin and Kenny King’s in-ring promo segment attempting to bring the X Division back to life, and one-and-a-half commercial breaks.

Q7: Impact swung back to a 1.05 rating for videos, main event ring introductions, and the first four minutes of the main event of Sting & Kurt Angle vs. Aces & Eights.

Q8: Despite the tease of a third man emerging to join Sting & Angle, Impact only increased slightly to a 1.09 rating for the conclusion of the main event and Abyss returning to join Team TNA. There was also one mid-match commercial as TNA teased the appearance of a third man.

See, TNA? You don't need Chavo and Hernandez. Show peaks with the greatest tag teams in the bus-ah-ness. :boss:
Think the Big Bang Theory comes on from 8-8:30, one of the biggest ratings draws on TV. They used to complain about having to compete with the Jersey Whores at 10 but they're gone, thank god.

Surprised the third-man thing didn't draw, they set it up well. Figured everyone would think it was some fossil from WCW coming out for the save, and that's what draws in wrestling, brother.
