But let's just say that the lists are right and there will be a significant amount of new talent showing up on Impact tomorrow night.

Isn't this a negative thing? Doesn't TNA have more than enough talent as it is to make their promotion successful? Won't this new influx of talent further hamper an already over loaded roster? Moreover is the quality of the talent being brought in significant enough to warrant pushing them over the talent that has always been there? Is talent like Scott Hall, Tommy Dreamer, Shannon Moore and Sean Waltman really more worthy of attention than anyone else currently on the roster?

Personally I just don't buy it. I think it's great that TNA is trying to beef up their roster and draw more attention to their product but they're going about it the wrong way. There is too much unnecessary crap coming in that is just not going to prove its worth. TNA would be better served using what they already have to its best potential.

It just seems to me like every time TNA takes a step forward it takes at least one step back.

No, you're right. This is a very bad thing for TNA. I mean maybe MAYBE guys like Moore, Waltman & RVD can be brought in to beef up the X Division and make that division relevant again. But then you add in the possibility of Scott Hall, Tommy Dreamer, Ric Flair, Psycho Sid & possibly more all being interested in going to TNA, and your adding unecessary upper mid card fluff to the roster. Because you KNOW Flairs gonna wanna wrestle. You KNOW that Sid & Hall are going to have too big a egos to take a step back for the younger talent, and Tommy Dreamer will just be another ECW alumnus to join the likes of Stevie Richards, Raven, Mick Foley, The Dudley Boyz, Rhino & Rob Van Dam. You might as well bring back Sandman, Shane Douglas, New Jack, Psicosis, Super Crazy, Tajiri, Justin Credible & Sabu and have your second show be the ECW Reunion show.

TNA already is having a hard enough time establishing more than 2 tag teams at a time, it's X Division & the Global Title. Bringing in all this new talent will just take away even more time from those who they SHOULD be pushing.

AGREED!
I've said that forever about TNA. What can anyone on this list do for TNA?? The same thing that the likes of ★★★★, Angle, Sting, Foley, Lashley, and Booker did. Absolutely nothing besides take Spike's (NOT TNA's) money. You have to have a larger fanbase for washups to make some sort of Impact! At least 50% of TNA's fans are also WWE marks, they gotta pull in new fans and you can't do that with WWE table scraps.

There is no possible way TNA can utilize all of this talent along with their current talent. They have always had problems in this department. I say make the same play they made on the very first episode of TNA, just throw all their asses in a battle royal for the belt. That way every new star can get new airtime or whatever then sort out the details the following Thursday on iMPACT!

Is Jarrett still going to be concerned with Angle amongst all this chaos or is that out the window?

Well you guys seem to be the experts of the realm. TNA went to a 2 hour show under ★★★★ and Booker's watch. Sting made AJ legit and passed the torch.

Kurt made AJ legit.

They've done a lot, but you guys are too busy complaining like a bunch of schoolgirls to pay attention and enjoy the show.

AJ Styles made AJ Styles legitimate. And, so far as I know, there is currently no mainstream wrestling on television right now. So, while there's no show to be enjoyed, why not partake in some friendly discussion :) . I can't help but think that maybe you have the same goal in mind, judging by your decision to sign up for a wrestling forum.

I already feel that one of TNA's problems is that their roster is too big. And they seem to want to get as many people on camera as possible, due to it's roster size, that's hurting their show. If they are going to be bringing in more people, they need to either A). Get rid of people or B). Have another wrestling show.

I think that's the underlying goal here, Bones. You hit the nail on the head. TNA is trying to gain as big a roster as possible with as many names as possible so that they can woo Spike TV into making a second show where TNA will be able to focus on more individuals at once. It's still a risky move to their wallet considering if they DO get Mr. Anderson, Flair, Waltman & Hall as well as others, they will all be wanting big money contracts like Hogan. And TNA simply can't afford that pay roll.

I was gonna say what if they make a second show, but it was just said. This is all assuming these rumors people love to bring up are even actually true.

maybe TNA made those rumors for the wrestling fans to tune in to watch them to see if its true or not.

Nonetheless, bringing too many washed out wrestlers will lead to a washed out show.

I think you misread what I wrote. AJ is a great wrestler, but to be the man you gotta beat the man. Amirite amirite? I know I'm right.

He beat Sting, who is THE FUCKIN' MAAAAN... so now AJ is the man.

He beat Kurt Angle, best wrestler on the planet, also THE FUCKIN' MAAAN... so now AJ is the man.

Without wins like that he'd be another indy wrestler who can do a buncha flippy floppy moves off the top rope.

AJ Styles has been one of, if not the, most over wrestlers in the company since at least 2004. Even in the X-Division, his angles frequently usurped the Heavyweight Title scene. Beating Sting and Angle certainly solidified his position, but to say that they "made" him is misguided.
