Ian Riccaboni provides an update on ROH Honor Club.

In July, AEW and ROH issued a statement regarding plans for a revamped HonorClub. The statement said, "Ring of Honor is also currently revamping its HonorClub program with enhanced elements and functionality. During this ongoing transformation, there will be a pause on accepting new memberships. Current memberships (as of July 16, 2022), will be extended at no additional cost until the refreshed HonorClub platform is launched in early fall 2022."

There have been no further updates regarding HonorClub and fans using the service to watch ROH events live, which was a previous feature of the platform.

During a K&S WrestleFest signing, ROH announced Ian Riccaboni teased that an update is coming soon.

"A lot of folks ask me about Honor Club, that might be re-launching soon. There might be some news coming your way about that," he said.

ROH Final Battle will be available on pay-per-view and Bleacher Report.

Later during the signing, Riccaboni was asked if he saw ROH potentially getting a TV deal in 2023. He replied, "I think so. I don't have any inside information, but I'm very hopeful because, if you look at the folks coming in, it's very public that we have Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Maria, they're all signed. Brian Cage is with Ring of Honor. Samoa Joe has the TV belt, Jericho with the world title, FTR with the tag titles, Mercedes with the women's title. If you look at where the chips are being positioned, Bandido and RUSH getting signed. Shane Taylor with a big chance at Final Battle. There are all these folks who were with the last era of Ring of Honor that are suddenly in the AEW fold. I don't think there's any reason why there wouldn't be an appetite for Ring of Honor broadcast, especially as you see the army that's being built that has Ring of Honor ties."

ROH is set to hold its final pay-per-view of the year on Saturday with ROH Final Battle.

Ring of honor actually just revamped their entire website including honor club and sign ups are back open because I was able to sign back up and the latest death before dishonor pay-per-view was even on there already and the video player is definitely already much better. So I don’t know if this is the relaunch that Ian was just talking about and it’s already available or if they’re going to revamp it again but it’s definitely already been improved since Tony bought it before. I’ll probably going to watch death before dishonor soon now that I have it on my my honor club.

The website looks pretty decent too. Maybe better than AEW’s current layout if I’m being perfectly honest.

Glad to hear the Kingdom are coming back to ROH as well. I guess that makes sense why AEW hired them.

They probably don’t have a place for them on AEW right now, but I kinda prefer them in ROH to keep the brand. I wouldn’t want too many newer faces in ROH without the familiar faces that kept the brand going the last years.

you can do a lot worse than Briscoes, FTR and The Kingdom as your tag stables!

I just need to test out the AirPlay. NJPW streams great to the tv so I just need to see if HonorClub does as well.

Though, ROH should get an app like NJPW does too.

The only option available for the new signups is the $9.99 model though so expect Final Battle to be full price. The old model had two more expensive options for half off and the most expensive had PPV included. I’m fine with this since AEW actually sells PPV and I have fite that gives me decent rates on PPV for $20 and whatnot.
