If you want a Bioware style RPG, try GOG.com. They specialize in classics. For ten dollars you can get Baldur's Gate 2, the best RPG Bioware ever did. The graphics are dated, but the depth of gameplay and story make Dragon Age look like a joke.
There's a lot of other CRPGs you could try as well. You could check out The Witcher, 1 and 2. You'd need a decent PC for the second one, but they're both deep games with branching story lines. They're on console as well. The tone of them is a little dark and misogynistic at times, but most people consider that more of a pro than a con. For me, it kind of put me off, but that's just me.
If you like hardcore RPGs, try Planescape Torment. It was developed by Black Isle (the better part of Bioware before they split) and it's generally considered the greatest RPG of all time, even though it's a decade old. This is the kind of game where some conversations have over 20 dialogue responses. One of the deepest games ever created. Novel quality story and characters. It'll blow you away if you can get into it. All of these are available on GOG, btw.
Aside from that, Pokemon will be out in a couple weeks. Can't go wrong with Pokemon, lol.
