But what sense did Vince agreeing to Paul Heyman's stipulation for the Elimination Chamber make? Vince came across as wanting to get the title off of Punk and then ends up at a later date getting attacked by another associate of Heyman, Brock Lesna ending upr putting him on the sidelines with a broken hip. With them things combined, he then agrees to a stipulation to stack the deck in the favour of Punk in a phonecall with Heyman.

Like I said in the title, I know you shouldn't count on logic on Wrestling but that whole situation just stood out like a sore thumb and just had me baffled. Like I know they obviously wanted a different slant on the match this time but surely they could have come up with someone better than that.

yeah I thought for sure when that stip was added that we'd get an angle where Punk hired somebody to come down and attack him to try and get the Rock disqualified and with the way Vince agreed to it I thought that he or the Rock would have arranged for someone else to stop the first interfering guy (if that makes any sense)..... In the end, the stipulation did nothing but make for a boring first 5 minutes of the match while Punk did the usual "try to get the other guy disqualified" stuff... You are right, no sense in trying to make sense of a senseless wrestling angle. They've made it perfectly clear over the years that either they think we don't care about stuff like this, or, they don't care if we do..

Why didn't Heyman just 'attack' Punk and cost Rock the match.

Because I think The Rock himself had to get DQ'd or counted out.

Pretty much thought this when the stip was agreed to. Didn't really get Vince agreeing to it and the stip ended up being useless anyways. Though on the flipside you could say Vince knew the stip was useless since it was said if Rock got himself DQ'ed or counted himself out (Think that was how it was worded) not if Punk purposely tried to win by countout. Either way just didn't make much sense.

Nobody saw Raw then eh? Vince baited Heyman into getting what he wanted, and that was for Paul E to do, ANYTHING.

Sook, sook, complain, whinge. Ugh @ some people.
