I just got back from an indy house show. About halfway through the match card, we had this guy wrestling someone called the American Luchador, and this guy is fantastic. One of the highest spots was when he had his opponent on the outside, and hit the opposite ropes as if he were going to do a suicide dive, but instead of diving through the ropes, he jumped over the ropes, did a backflip in midair, and did a shooting star press takedown without even touching the top rope! Everyone was absolutely speechless. There were a few seconds immediantly after that move that there was funeral-like silence.

Keep an eye out for the American Luchador sometime in the X Division, because with athleticism like that, it's only a matter of time before he makes it there.

If its the move that I'm thinking off, then its not that rare anymore. Its basically an SSP over the top rope. I believe both AJ Styles and Tyler Black use the move.

As for the American Luchador, can't say I know anything about him, but I'll see if I can find something.

Aj styles used it in the 2002-05 part of his career. Its an awesome and hard move to pull off. But i will keep a look out for that wrestler.

^^^No, AJ jumped onto the top rope before he did the shooting star press, so it's more like a springboard shooting star. The American Luchador (trust me, when he pulls off those kind of moves, his name sticks) doesn't even so much as graze the top rope.

Though he's not an indy guy, Kota Ibushi is a very good flyer too. He's coming to wrestle in America for a couple of ROH shows, and I discovered him right before his ROH dates were announced. This is just amazing, check this video out...
