He is 43 years old, and that's getting about that age where a wrestler seriously considers hanging them up. Michaels retired around that age and Triple H and Undertaker's careers have largely winded down. Austin said if it wasn't for his neck injury, he'd have likely retired around 2008 or 2009, which would put him around that age.

The reason I'm hoping Angle will be considering retirement sooner than later is because I think he will make an effort to return to the WWE to finish out his career there. Almost every WWE superstar who heads to TNA eventually comes back (Nash, Christian, Booker T., Foley, etc.) And I want to see Angle and CM Punk have an awesome match, I want to see Angle carry Sheamus to a great match, I want to see an Angle/Daniel Bryan match, I wouldn't mind seeing another Angle/Cena match, etc.

Angle it seems is working on ending his career quite well. He recently fully tore his hamstring but went against doctors recommendation and wrestled full time. His body is going to give out on him one of these days.

Yeah, his body is really banged up. I'd like to see one last run in WWE but I don't know if that's possible.

True that. He's still the best hot tag on planet.

I hope before he retires he puts some more people over in TNA (not that he didn't already, in fact he put over a tons of TNA wrestlers), like Magnus, Kazarian or Zema Ion in a meaningful, full fledged feud(s). Kerrang for lyfe.

I too would love to see him back in WWE at one point and think it might happen. I guess sooner than rather is better because as you said he's not getting any younger, but I don't think Kurt is as keen to go back to WWE as us. He has an easy schedule, an important role and a lot of money, there's nothing to complain about.

Yeah there's a slew of guys in WWE that Angle needs to face at least once before he retires. I think he'll come back to WWE once TNA is on firm ground like he said. We can only speculate, but it'd be nice.
