After only a few months (I can't re-call the exact amount, probably 5 or 6) the Moscow Mauler, Vladimir Koslov, has been shot into the Main Event scene. A man who after only competing in squash matches for 2 months, was getting involed with the WWE Champion.

What are your thoughts on Big Vlad and his recent push?

I think it was a horrible idea. Vladimir hadn't even competed in a match that went more than 5 minutes against a competetive opponent (I believe the first would've been Jeff Hardy), been in a PPV match or even a feud and was already higher up the card than guys like MVP, Kendrick, Shelton, Umaga and the like. Koslov is awful, well from what he has shown me at least.

Discuss.

As much as I like Vladimir, it just shows the urgency WWE have to try and push a monster heel on a brand where there are no legitimate heels when this push started. Of course now there is Edge, and Big Show is kinda not an option for some reason, but it's been way too quick and Vladimir hasn't built up the reputation for big fights yet. He hasn't beaten anyone higher then like a jobber and his match with HHH got shit on because in a way he's not a believable monster. You can't believe that he is going to beat a HHH or a Jeff Hardy because he hasn't picked up those credible wins yet.

It was a desperate push, with the lack of Edge, and Show doing other things. They desperately needed a guy to fill in, so they took him. And it was obvious it was a desperate push, but I must say they actually made it work, and did a decent job. I actually am starting to like him.
