This contains spoilers so if you don't want to be spoiled hit the back button, you were warned on the thread title.

Now, in the past two years I have been a huge Smackdown fan. I found it a great show as it was more Wrestling based show and had fresher talent. It was a great place for guys to be pushed to World Title Level e.g CM Punk and Jeff Hardy...However over the past few months Smackdown has begin to flop and I am actually more into RAW which is a huge surprise. Below are my reasons.

1) Randal (B)Orton- Don't get me wrong Orton has been good in the past but it seems he is getting sloppy and lazy now he is face. He doesn't really seem to have the same passion that he had when he was the legend killer and his move set is so limited now for some reason, it seems like he has to rely on gimmick matches. Also why does he feel the need to bury talent all the time? He buried Mr Kennedy, buried Kofi (partly Kofi's fault, buried Ted DiBiase Jr and Cody Rhodes. That pisses me off because he got put over by legends when he was a rookie and now he barely returns the favour. I just think Smackdown could do with a main eventer that's more willing to put guys over.

2) The main event scene- Okay, so we have guys like Sheamus, Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett who could all be in the main event getting experience. They are fresher talents with Sheamus only holding the WWE Title twice, Barrett having a few title shots and Cody looking more and more impressive as the day goes on. I thought after Summerslam it would be Barrett going into the main event as Henry didn't do what he wanted to do to Sheamus and Christian was done with Orton.... But NO, just read the spoilers and in one of the most Blue booking decisions ever Henry is the number one contender! Okay I understand he will eventually get a shot at the title but wtf? His fued with Sheamus was nowhere near over as Sheamus didn't get destroyed, silly if you ask me.

3) Repetition. Orton vs Christian fued. Nuff said.

So yeah, Smackdown really does not interest me at the moment. It's been made to look shit and the fact it's always the same guy with the title sucks badly. I really wish they'd go back to the days where younger guys were in the title picture.

1) Orton doesn't make creative decisions so you can't blame him for winning. Orton has been having awesome matches with Christian so based on his wrestling alone, especially on mainevents, he deserves to be the champion. His feud with Christian has been fantastic although it would have been nicer if Christian held the title for a bit longer. I think that working against a stronger heel like Henry will help him even more, Henry is the most hated heel on the roster so it will work.

2) Henry took out Big Show and Kane and at SummerSlam what I saw was Henry standing tall in the ring whilst Sheamus was crawling on the outside trying to get to the ring. Just before that Henry slammed Sheamus into the ring post and then put him THROUGH the ringside barrier. Not sure how any other heel on the roster deserves to be above him when he has stopped the threw biggest faces on the roster. Barrett beat Bryan and who else? He has barely had any big wins lately. Sheamus was behind Henry in the rankings as a heel and he only just turned face with this feud being his first one and he is so far losing it. It will take time for Sheamus to be up to the title scene but he isn't far off. Rhodes again who has he beaten? Ezekiel Jackson and no-one else. Plus he is the IC champion at the moment. Henry is the perfect choice and there is no-one close that deserves a title shot before him.

3) That feud finished at SummerSlam

Smackdown still has great wrestling RAW has the better promos. I tune in to Smackdown to watch matches and RAW to watch what happens outside the ring.

I might be looking into a things a little deeply but I just don't remember things annoying me this much as they have been doing lately with Smackdown. The roster seems so small and I feel we're just going to have repetitive matches. And the thing with Orton why does it constantly have to be him? I mean on RAW it used to be constantly him and Cena in the picture and now he's traded it's like the two most irritating guys are stealing all the limelight from talent that deserve to be pushed. I just predict spots in his matches coming a mile away as well whether they are good or not. But whatever I'm sure no one will agree with me but I have a strong opinion on this and wanted to voice it.

Honestly with the other guys on the roster he deserves to be up there. I do think that he should be helping, creative should be helping, to bring more guys up to his level. It would be better for Smackdown if there was another strong face, they turned Christian heel so without Christian as a face there was no-one even close to that level. It looks like Sheamus will be up there soon enough so it will be good if Sheamus can eventually be the number one face for some time on Smackdown.
