In an interview with The Guardian in Great Britain to promote TNA's British Bootcamp, Hulk Hogan noted that he has one more surgery to go and then he intends to return to the ring.

When asked about his own personal Christmas list, Hogan noted he'd love to be 30 years younger and have his own private jet again, then commented knee surgery, saying, "I've had eight back surgeries, I've had knee replacements, I've had both hip replacements. I only need one more surgery – to fix my right knee – then I'm going to go for the TNA world title. I want to be 59 years old and be the champion."

So, Hulkamania running rampant....in 2013?

Eight back surgeries, both hips replaced and knee replacements and he still wants to wrestle. That alone makes him crazy. The mention of the title is probably just Hogan trying to stir things up a bit but still there is no need for it since he shouldn't even wrestle anymore let alone have a title shot.

Gonna hope he was being sarcastic but given who said it he probably was dead ass serious in which case I feel sorry for whoever he would get in the ring with who will have to try and make him not look like he is broke down.

The even more worrying thing is I can see his opponent being Sting which would be one terrible match. Hopefully Dixie would be smart enough to realise that there is no need for Hogan to be back in the ring let alone wrestling for the world title.

But this is Dixie we are talking about and would probably be convinced by Hogan that it'd be good for business to happen on live Impact to see him once again win a world title. That way he can say he won a world title in the WWF, the WWE (even though they the same), WCW, and TNA and "make history."

Plus mannn to have to sell those shots... I hope whoever does sells it like HBK did. Act like he got blasted with each shot... sell the big boot twice. All that stuff.

I guess he figures, "If Rock can get a title shot, so can I, brother!" Except, ya know, Rock is twenty years younger and in twenty times better shape.

Only surprise is that he hasn't already made himself champion sooner.

Well yeah, exactly. You knew it would come down to this eventually.

"Look at everything I've done for this company, Dixie. So... title run?"

There was always a little hope that Hogan was thinking of toneing it down as a wrestler, but this is no suprise. Just hope he is just working people and that TNA is strong enough to say no, it is down to them and will be there fault if it does happen.

Should any of us be surprised? I'm not in the least surprised.

This will happen, by the way. Hogan gets whatever he wants because stupid people still naively believe him and Ric Flair can sell out arenas (which they can't anymore).
