This is confirmed....sort of.

See Jimmy Hart who managed Hogan in 94-95 while in WCW was also a close friends with the Hulkster, he told a wrestling news letter that Hogan was going to be at WrestleMania XXX no matter being invited to be apart of the event or if he had to buy a ticket. HE WAS GOING TO BE THEIR!

Yep, one of the few people they could wheel out who can make a ton of shit punches and back fat feel special.

Watch the hulk up near the end, he can work a crowd even with his huge limitations better than most.

Who cares if the old smurf can work a crowd? The dude is boring, can't work a MATCH, and shouldn't be near a wrestling ring.

Okay, perhaps I'm bias due to my hatred, but fuck Hogan in so many different painful ways.

Fuck Hogan.
I would if I could brother. In all seriousness though, if you don't think that hogan has a right to be at WM XXX in some sort of capacity then you're not paying homage to the history of the event. No one has main evented more manias or drawn more money in pro wrestling history. People love to throw Austin's name out there, but his main run was 4 years max. Hogan was on top of the business from the mid eighties to the late nineties.

It's the 30th annual event for Wrestlemania. It won't hurt for Hulk Hogan to be there in a manager or "host" type of deal for the event, even if it's just for one segment or being in the preshow commentary, Hulk Hogan definitely deserves to be at the event. Is he old and past his time? Damn straight he is, but that's why he isn't wrestling. It's hard to imagine this Wrestlemania without a possible Hulk Hogan interaction involved at least once.

This what's so special about prowrestling, you can never see Maradona come back at 50 and score in a world cup final, you can't see Jordan hitting a lay up on Lebron for another ring, you can't see Babe Ruth hit a home run or Jack Dempsey a knock out but you can see an old man work his magic once more on the grandest stage they can offer and re-live the nostalgia one more time. Hogan became saturated in TNA but coming out in the house he built on the show he built and leg dropping giants is something that will make the majority of us smile, it's one last hurrah from the sport's biggest icon.

Out of respect for history and the event, I'll say this:

If you can find a safe way to get a cheap nostagia pop in under 5 minutes (fine, 10 including self-indulgent entrance) okay. No more. Enough of this guy. Thrilled at the report that said that the real stars on the roster are too good for the Hulkster.

As for trying to find something useful to do with him: He can come out and cut "Generic Hulk Hogan Promo B" before getting interrupted by Fandango who dances his way down to the ring and shows off his impressive legdrop. So Hogan talks down to him for interrupting in typical Hogan fashion, Johnny gets mad and punches Hulky... block-punch, block-punch, big boot... then Summer drags Fandango out of the ring since Hogan can't do the Leg Drop anymore. Fine. At least Hogan put over Summer Rae, which is one more person than he did in TNA
