Huge iMPACT news!!!!!

It's been rumored for months and now its as close to official as ever. TNA iMPACT! will be expanding to two hours within the next month. The first two hour episode could take place as soon as the October 5th show.

TNA iMPACT! will remain on Thursday nights and will continue to be taped in Orlando. At this point, it would be too expensive to take the show on the road and go live each week.

SpikeTV is said to be pleased with TNA's current ratings and are not expecting an increase when the show gets a second hour. It would be considered an accomplishment for TNA to be able to keep their entire audience for the extra hour.

TNA will be instituting random drug testing within a few weeks. The details are currently being worked on. TNA wants to be able to tell Congress that they have instituted drug testing in their company.

Finally we have the confirmation, and finally drug testing! We all know TNA have had a lot of bad press coverage because of their lack of drug testing. Though it could cause more bad press if some of the wrestlers come out positive, which I think they will.

They didnt confirm the date untill now. It was just speculated. And I havent heard about the drug testing. I actually thought they said that they werent going to have it.

They said the first week of oct, because their old contract ended at the end of sept. First weel of Oct,= Oct 5th...same thing.

Its put up or shut up time. I don't want to say that thi sis make or break, but it will certainly set the mood for TNA's future.

I sincerely hope they do well, I do. But I have serious doubts as to whether they'll do it or not.

Nah, if they have any brains they'll keep tehir show on Thursday nights and not worry about the WWE. A 50/50 split would be amazing for them.

I do agree, it really is make or break time for TNA. If the two hour show doesn't vastly improve from the one hour Impact they've been putting out lately then I'm convinced that they just don't know how to use their talent correctly.

I say, good for TNA. They've got this far and hopefully the make good use of the time and book better than SummerSlam lol.

Like Travis said, hope they don't just make the second hour about Joe or Angle.
