I was thinking about something.
I was watching a match "fans bring the weapons match type", and I was thinking that how would the wrestlers still keep up to the track and the scripted moves when they are actually using extra stuff that are brought from fans.

Also, arent they afraid that the weapons used would actually cause a major injury and lead to another outcome to the match?

Discuss.

I've always thought about this, and I am not really sure tbh. I think the matches are pretty stupid, they could be dangerous and it really isn't worth risking someones life in front of 60 people at most. I also hate garbage wrestling, its really good once in a while, but I think fans bring the weapons matches go a little too far. Besides, I'm sure the wrestlers only use things like chairs and stuff that they can work with

I think most of those type matches have only the finisher, and big spots in the match planned, and the rest is just to hit each other. That style of wrestling is so boring to me, even if someone's guts fall out, it's still boring.

Yeah^ Those type of matches aren't scripted instead of the ending. It's basicly kill eachother for 7 minutes using weapons from the crowd and here's the finish.........................

Usually in "fans bring the weapons" matches the weapons are checked in backstage to see if they could cause really serious damage when used. Plus checking them in backstage allows the wrestlers say "I wanna use this" or "I'm not going anywhere near that". This also allows them to plan out how to use each weapon. Although that doesn't always work out the way it should.

uhh..maybe cuz most matches are not 100% scripted? if all were, what makes a guy better in the ring than the other if he's just doing whats scripted? only the finishes are scripted...most of the time. even singles matches.

thats true. I still think that hardcore wrestlers use alot of abandoned drugs to let them high so that there is nothing that would stop them from going in that match (or having a second thought about it). lol.

yes, but the screaming and the smashing is somehow fun for some specific fans who love watching blood and torture :smh sick bastards lol.

well, this might be true. But still, the foreign objects they use are sometimes leathal even if its still been checked before. For example; the lighttube matches. Those are leathal even if it was only a single light tube. It causes superficial and internal bleeding if it was stroke from near distance and to a very thin skin areas.

Yes, as most people said. But still a powerful finish may cause people to faint or even die during the match that would actually stop the match or change the outcome they decided prior to the match. I can recall like two matches were fucked up for that matter. (300lighttube matches i believe they were).

Axl and Ian Rotten made a living out of being fat and putting on violent boring "matches".
