We all know the biggest problem with Wrestlemania is that its too damn long.

How to make the event shorter?

Cut the Braun Strowman comedy segment

Have Asuka defend the belt in the battle Royal. That will knock one match off the rumoured 17 match card.

Have a 5 match pre show.

Have the cruiserweights defend at NXT Takeover. Nobody cares about them and they will have more time and appreciation on a Takeover card.

Force Triple H to have a match that's under 20 minutes long. Batista vs Triple H could be an absolute disaster. Keep it short.

Have Miz vs Shane and Kurt vs Cena be short and exciting matches. No need for them to go over 10 mins.

Contain all Alexa Bliss segments in backstage segments.

Maybe have a surprise squash match. I don't see any match on the card that would be suitable for a squash match. Maybe the revival vs the NXT guys. They have a negative 'I don't want to be here' moany attitude. Deserve to be squashed

No Undertaker. He doesn't need to be at the show.

I feel like that if they did this then the main card will be under 6 hours lol.

5 match pre show and 10 match main card. Doesn't sound that bad.

Just give Asuka a worthy opponent for her title match perhaps 2 to make it a triple threat.

Yeah, kill all the extra video packages, interviews and lame ass commentary in the pre-show. And instead, add more matches at least 5 like you said.

I agree to just leave NXT matches at NXT Takeover the fanbase and everything works out better that way. It gets too complicated when they hurry up and add them to the regular events.

Unless they're pulling off a great story for the Batista vs Triple H match then 20 minutes should suffice. Let's keep the members of DX and Evolution (as well as The Kliq?!) from coming down to the ring.

The Shane vs Miz match can be like 5 minutes, imo. Angle vs Cena, I feel deserve a respectable bout so it can go about 15 maybe 20 minutes.

I won't really be paying that much to Alexa Bliss (sorry), her segments may be my bathroom break or fridge trip.

I don't know about having squash matches for Wrestlemania but if need be, may just have Strowman put an end to Corbin AND THAT. BE. IT, WWE!

Unless Taker becomes Angle's opponent, I don't see no reason for him to even do a match. I wish he would just change over to either himself Mark Calloway and speak to the fans, give his final thank you's and ride off into the sunset or use the Undertaker character as a mentor to a dark character before finally leaving like...Demon King Balor? Or Aleister Black? I mean someone/anyone who will take his mystique and utilize it. They could have been just let Bray Wyatt befome this dark sinister, unstoppable force but Idk what went wrong.

I also would like to add the Women's Tag Team match be one the pre show and end either quick or via DQ.

I'm tired of battle royals at Wrestlemania or even the Wrestlemania's pre-show, let's just end them this year and the following years.

One of the best things about Mania are the promo packages so keep all of them. They normally air them once on the preshow and once on the main card. I thinks that pretty healthy. They are just a must. If they are having a three hour pre show on the USA network then there will be plenty of time to have all of the promotion and have 5/4 matches.just reduce the panel stuff.

Obviously not all the matches need a promo package.

I get that they are important and I love most of them but doing each and every one of them on the ore show just seems ineffective to me. I would have the fans/viewers wait for them on the main show instead or at the very least like you said, not give every match a video package.

So my issue is with the amount of them when watching the pre show and how they just eat up extra time where they could just squeeze in matches AND they could make Wrestlemania's pre show 2 hours long. But I don't have any issue with video packages unless they are rushed, sloppily edited and misrepresent themselves (in other words, just plain awful).

WWE do create some great promo packages and they need to be on the preshow because they are promoting the marquee matches to encourage people to buy the network.

No point having them if they are not on the pre show, other then to hype the matches up.

But yeah the preshow matches get fucked up by the panel and the promos. I would book the pre show like an actual wrestling show with promo packages imbetween each match up.

The pre show panel is so bad. Fair enough if wrestling was a real sport, but what useful insight are they going to give when the matches are predetermined and the commentators don't even call the matches properly

If they ever split it in two days... I would NOT the next day. It just wouldn't be worth it to me.

I wouldn't watch Saturday, only Sunday. Most of the matches worth watching involve belts anyways.
