Hasn't there been talk about this since at least Punk's shoot? With Punk and Sonnen being friends and all. I think I read somewhere that Sonnen has no real interest in crossing over. It would be pretty sweet though.

It was like months ago on I think Pwmania. He said something about currently not being interested. Which would be understandable considering the amount oh high caliber bouts he is/has been booked in lately.

As I said in my original post I think I read something. I could just as well be mixing up info in my brain. I don't remember clearly so I cannot give a clear source, I am just speculating.
