Worked an extra shift this weekend for a guy. Asked him if he could switch shifts with me today. Do I could work the day shift and get off at 4 so I can hustle my ass home to coach my sons game tonight.

Cool! All set up. I arrive to work an I get a call right at the start of the shift.
The bastard calls in sick!
No one is available to cover!
I get stuck here working 17 straight hours.....

My son scores his first goal of the season! Back up was playing goal. (His scheduled start!)
