As the title says. This is what I know from shoot interviews with wrestlers and what people have admitted to in autobiographies. So how many of the greats would flunk a drugs test in the WWE now? As it turns out probably most of them.

HBK (steroids, various recreational drugs)
Hogan (steroids)
Ultimate Warrior (steroids)
Bret Hart (Cocaine)
The Rock (steroids)
VInce McMahon (Cocaine, Steroids)
Matt Hardy (various)
Jake the Snake (various)
Undertaker (party lifestyles, recreational+booze)
Hercules
Dynamite Kid
British Bulldog
Ken Shamrock
Mr Kennedy
Kurt Angle

All of the below (steroids)
Lex Luger
Chris Benoit
Eddie Guerrero
Scott Steiner
Randy Orton
Rey Mysterio
Edge
Test
Superstar Billy Graham
Triple H (admitted to medical use after tearing his quad...)
Billy Gun

And probably Brock Lesnar.

Stone Cold Steve Austin? (alleged by ex wife after assault).

Every single one of them from the 80s would fail most likely. 90s too for that matter

You have to figure in the 80's and 90's, there wasn't social media, or a core online following watching their every move. The wrestlers could easily go out after a show, get high/drunk/whatever, and go in to work the next day.

Wrestlers were also a lot more rowdy back in the day, so wrestlers ending up in say the drunk tank or jail overnight was not uncommon.

The stories I have heard about 80s wrestlers getting into trouble are legitimately the stuff of legends. Especially the bits about Haku/Meng.

Probably the majority of the roster in the early 2000s also.
Point 1: I missed you so much.

Point 2: Yeah, the post 90s roster was pretty rowdy and broken down up until the Benoit and Eddie debacles, which forced WWE to take action.

I wonder who the least expected guy to fail is. Is there anyone that would truly shock people, Punk I suppose?

Albert would be a good shout out. Massive dude that you'd expect to live the life based just on the looks. But I've never seen any reports on him being a heavy drinker or drug user.

Granted Zeb Coulter got busted for pot alongside Jack Swagger a few years back so who knows?

Definitely Punk. There was an interview with Jeff where he said Punk is a big fan of the pills inspite of his straight edge claims and all that, I don't really buy it considering Jeff and Punk were never close in the first place.

Modern day wrestlers maybe DB and John Cena would be shocking, because they seem as 'clean' a wrestlers can be really.

You can add Kevin Nash to that list, he's admitted his steroid use in an interview I believe.

Scott Hall had some addiction issues too.

I think like many have said, it was an underground culture that existed in the business back then, they didn't know how harmful it was (i mean they knew it wasn't good for them probably but not how bad it can affect them), etc.

So I am guessing many who came into the business during that time had it available easily or (if allegations are true) were asked to take them.
