For the last 10 years ever since the WWE became PG, the show hasn't changed much since then. Yeah they have guys leaving for years and then coming back like The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boyz, Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, Bret Hart, Kurt Angle and even The Rock. Guys from the Indies or other promotions working for WWE like AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura, Kevin Owens (formerly Kevin Steen) Bayley (formerly Davina Rose) Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) and Finn Balor (who was Prince Devitt before NXT) and Asuka etc. But other than old guys returning and new guys coming in, the overall tone of the product is very much the same as it was in the late 00's - early 2010's. It's not like it was from 1998 to 2002 when everybody was into wrestling and even after that during the Ruthless Aggression Era from 02 to 08, they were still pushing the envelope but not as much as they were a decade before that, even the WrestleMania pay per views after The Attitude Era were much better than the ones during it not so much now, other than the debut of Ronda Rousey this year.
