If the WWE is intent on going ahead with having these two wrestle at WM I would like to suggest this idea.

First off, DX needs to hold the tag titles until WrestleMania.

During the lead up to WM have HBK attack the Undertaker after a match to grab his attention. Have Undertaker fight back and turn the tables on HBK bringing HHH down to help out Shawn.

Next week have Undertaker pay back HBk by attacking him during/after a match once again getting the upper hand and bringing out HHH to help Shawn again. DX gets the upper hand for a minute until Kane makes the save for the Undertaker. WrestleMania then gets DX vs Undertaker/Kane for the tag titles.

It's a different way to go with the match but I bet that these four could have a great tag match. Have the match end with HHH "accidentally" stopping HBK from pinning the Undertaker in the match leading to a Taker/Kane victory and you can spin off an HHH/HBK feud from there.

What do you think?

I'm totally against the idea of having Michaels/ Taker at WrestleMania.

But yeah, your idea seems pretty good and could work on television but why should they go with Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker at WrestleMania when they can put up something fresh which is way better than this? (i.e. Michaels vs. Triple H).

Is it possible to say "fresh" and "Michaels vs Triple H" in the same sentence?

I like the OP's idea.

^^^ They haven't touched each other in a singles match for over 5 years, plus there isn't a pair of wrestler's in the E who could draw a crowd into a match the way these 2 could except for Taker/HBK.

Good idea indeed, 'Style. But wouldn't a tag match somewhat taint the streak?

What about the handicap match at XIX?

Big names, the match would draw... but I think the streak would lose some appeal in a tag match.

I kinda see what you guys mean. But like Hardcore Superstar mentioned there was that handicap match that was originally supposed to be a tag match. Dunno why it was changed, was it just because Nathan Jones sucked? Anyway, as long as Undertaker doesn't lose the streak in the match I think that it's okay.

Actually that could add to a DX split angle if they play up the idea that if one of DX pinned the Undertaker they would be the one to end the streak. So you can have HHH be jealous of the idea that part of his hard work would go to HBK ending the streak and getting the glory leading to him "accidentally" costing Michaels the pin and DX the tag titles.

Great idea, imo. Would be a heck of a match and a great reward for Kane, who has had one of his best years in a while (he hasn't lost much despite jobbing). It also takes these four oldies out of the title picture which can be left for the young guys. If the WWE decide to go this direction however, I could see this match happening at EC.

I've thought about this idea, but I think I've decided against it for two reasons. First, I hate the idea of Kane being in any way responsible for such a big match. He is just not good anymore, at all. I feel like he would drag the match down enough to make it not worth having, at Wrestlemania at least. Second, that puts three of your biggest stars in one match. Instead of having three big matches in (for example) Triple H vs Sheamus, Shawn Michaels vs CM Punk, and Undertaker vs John Cena, you put them all in a single match - and a tag team one, at that.

So, aside from those two things, I like the idea of DX vs BOD. However, for me, those two things are enough for me to side against it.

I love it and it could work too. Plus we get the break up of DX and hopefully one of them goes heel. HHH i hope. But yeah id be all for that to happen. I'm not sure if i want on HBK vs Taker @WM. I have no doubt they will put on a great match again i just dont think it will top there last one. Both there bodies are not in great shape to out do there last match it means more bumps and that it self is a big ask for the pair of them. I really want HHH/HBK @ Mania but it looks like that is on the back burner for now. So DX/BOD would be cool.

It's a good idea, just best left for a time other than Mania. It could actually be done at Elimination Chamber as nice build for HBK/Taker's Mania match. Sheamus could come out and cost DX the match, if they are indeed going to do the HHH/Sheamus thing.

And then possibly having each team facing each other at Wrestlemania? What better way to send off Michaels and Taker than have them face off against there respective friends and the two men they have the most chemistry with in-match, Kane and HHH?

Tbh, I wouldn't really care if Kane brought the quality of the match. It's the chemistry and tension Kane and The Undertaker create in the ring together. It's unchallenged by any two men in the WWE. Kane and Taker by far know best how to create a HUGE match that people will for sure tune into to watch.

This. Those three matches you just listed should be our main event at WM. Just throw in Edge vs. Jericho and possibly vs. Orton (some combination) and you have it. That would be the shit, best WM since 20, imo.
