Im as old school a fan as youll find, but I actually like the gimmick. Finally Finlay might have a shot to get over too! Might. If anyone detests Hornswaggle I wont be one of the ones pickin on ya cause I like him and have no idea why myself.

^^It doesn't get anymore oldschool than midget wrestling.
It seems obvious that this angle will end up pretty damn lame. It already doesn't make sense. Finlay goes from basically the manhandling master of Horny to dancing with him in the friggin ring.

So does anyone have any guess as to what this deal with Mr. McMahon and Finlay is? Because they keep elluding to it on the show and VKM freaks out when Finlay mentions it. I'm hoping that it means that Hornswoggle isn't really Vince's son because I really can't stand this angle.
Here's a couple of the issues I have with him:
First of all since when is Finlay a face?? He went from a hardcore heel to suddenly being a baby face that stands up to VKM and beats the crap out of Khali.
Second of all when I watched last night's show I realized that it was a really, really good show. HBK's match was good, the women's match was actually decent, HHH's match was good, the JBL promo was amazing, and then the midget rumble happened. It was actually kind of funny at times cuz they did their entrances and their finishers, but overally it's just Blue. Aside from the woman's match everything on last night's show involved Main Event type wreslters, except Flair but because of the angle that makes those matches a lot better. But this Hornswoggle thing is just no good in my opinion. It takes time away from other people who could be getting air time and it just isn't entertaining to me. We didn't get to see Santino or Carlito, or the tag champs because I had to watch a midget RR. That's my main issue with this whole thing. It just isn't good to me.

i actually enjoy this angle... ya idk why finley is face sometimes and heel other times but this angle is pretty funny sometimes and i really didnt expect all of hornswaggles opponents to be midgets... lol that was an awesome batista bomb on kane... i did think that the real khali would come out and i was right...
I don't mind Hornswoggle I like him working in feuds but when they use him as wrestle for McMahon's tough love it's just a waste of space and it just ends up some jobber losing to Hornwoggle.

I hate Horny. I could not even stand him when he was being toss around by Finlay to help him win matches. The only time I got a laugh with Horny is when he was Green Bay Plunged from a ladder.
On a column I read the guy made a point of Vince and Finlay pretending and going along that Horny is his son so that the real son doesn't find out and in Vince's view, his money.

I used to be amused by him when he used to jump on Michael Cole but the amusement has wore off and now I depsise him lol. I mean how embarressing must it be for a wrestler to be pinned by a midget?

I agree with HHHforever. Hornswoggle gets a pop when he comes out, but he's not helping ratings or PPV buys. Meanwhile, guys like Carlito, Santino, London and Kendrick are stuck doing nothing while Hornswoggle easily gets 10 to 20 minutes of air time per week.
Hell, Flair vs Regal was shorter than the Battle Royal... That's just wrong.

I agree, i thought he was a lot better (funnier) back when he was in "short" segments with finlay and the show wasnt based around him. Now its out of control, he's on camera just as much as the main stars. I think he should have his role reduced soon.
It was a cute little idea for 3 weeks but now it's way out of control. This is the kind of bullshit that really makes one embarassed to be a wrestling fan. Send him off to Giant Gonzalez's little island.
Whether you like Flair's matches or not they are much more important than midget rumbles. I mean we all pretty much know that Flair is going to last until WM 24, but everytime he steps in the ring it could potentially be the last time. Plus everytime he goes out there it is more than likely that it is the last time he'll make an appearance in the ring in that city. So why would you make his matches so short and have a midget RR go longer?

I hadn't heard any theories on what it could be, but that one is very interesting. I've pretty much been holding out since Hornswoggle was named the son that someone would come out and say that he wasn't and Mr. Kennedy is. I was so ready for the Kennedy push and then the whole steriod thing happened and now we're stuck with this shit.
Some people may find this angle humorous and like it and there's nothing wrong with that. But, how many people are going to the arena saying that they hope Hornswoggle makes an appearance tongiht? How many people buy PPV's or watch Raw to see him? I would say basically no one. So if it isn't selling merchandise, tickets, or getting viewers than what is the purpose? None in my opinion. Look there's a lot of people out there who could and should be getting air time, but aren't because we've got Horny on the TV for 3 or 4 different segments a night.

Dude...WWE made the worse decision getting rid of the Juniors division..."Little People" wrestling is so fricken entertaining...Hell more entertaining than thediva's match...I think Hornswaggle is awesome cuase he's bringing more dignity to "Little People" wrestling...So yea...I luv Horny...
