The historic Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan witnessed an epic night of Ring of Honor action! “Honor Rising – Night 1” is in the books and is a must see event and fans will be able to see “Honor Rising” on upcoming episodes of Ring of Honor Wrestling Television.

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion #reborn Matt Sydal & Jushin “Thunder” Liger defeated “The 24/7 Party” Dalton Castle & Ryusuke Taguchi

The charismatic duo of Castle & Taguchi delighted the Japanese fans, but the aerial stylings of Sydal & Liger proved to be a little too much.

Delirious defeated Gedo

The unpredictable Delirious brought a swirling chaos that guided him to an exciting victory.

IWGP Jr Heavyweight Champion KUSHIDA defeated “Heavy Metal Rebel” Frankie Kazarian

Kazarian tried to use his obvious size advantage to bully the smaller champion, but KUSHIDA used his speed and caught the larger Kazarian with his patented Hoverboard Lock for the win.

IWGP Tag Team Champion Tomoaki Honma, Hiroshi Tanahashi, “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin & Moose defeated The Bullet Club (Tama Tonga, Bad Luck Fale, Yujiro Takahashi & Cody Hall)

The mass and humanity in this matchup was breathtaking. This match saw a little bit of everything but Moose would lead his team to victory by pinning Cody Hall after hitting him with the “Hit Stick”.

The Elite (IWGP Intercontinental Champion Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks) defeated Katsuyori Shibata & reDRagon

The Elite of the Bullet Club came out on top, but it was not without controversy. Matt Jackson used some sort of spray to momentarily blind Kyle O’Reilly. This allows Kenny Omega to hit the “One Winged Angel” for the victory.

The Briscoes defeated The Bullet Club (Doc Gallows & “Machine Gun” Karl Anderson)

The last time these two teams met, The Bullet Club claimed victory. This time the former 8x ROH World Tag Team Champions and current NEVER Openweight 6 Man Tag Team Champion Briscoes came prepared for war. They not only avenged that previous loss but they proved again to be potentially the greatest unit ever.

ROH World Champion Jay Lethal & Tatsuya Naito w/Truth Martini defeated IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada & Yoshi-Hashi

Fans witnessed a historic moment when both major World Champions in the ring at the same time when Lethal and Okada squared off. Lethal scored the big win for his team after hitting the “Lethal Injection” on Yoshi-Hashi.
