Due to the extreme nature of this post and the fact that it has not been reported elsewhere, please do not take this as complete fact. We feel the source we received this information from is legit and thus are willing to post it, but please take it with a grain of salt.

A current employee within Universal Studios park, without knowing the extent of the news he was sharing, passed along that Ric Flair is signing with TNA.

The employee simply thought it was a cool announcement and more than likely isn't much of a wrestling fan. Otherwise, he probably wouldn't have shared this information so easily (or at least without some sort of credit or reward being granted).

I have contacted as many of my TNA sources as I could and none were able to release any information. Understandably, the company is keeping this more than "hush hush" if it is indeed true.

Due to the source being innocent and completely unaware of the extremity of this tip, we feel we are justified in posting it. There is always that possibility he could be mistaken or confused, but he did promise that he knew he saw Ric Flair and heard that he was there signing with the company.

With the attention right now being on Booker T and him being Sting's partner at Genesis, it will be interesting to see the turn of events as this story breaks. For storyline purposes, Ric Flair would be a perfect fit as Sting's partner, but this story is definitely not confirmed.

I will do everything I can to follow up on this story and find out whatever I can to validate this claim. I have a feeling that it may be tough task, however.

I thought that Ric Flair said he wouldnt go to TNA? HOLY SHIT, I guess we will have to wait and see. Obviously, nothing is totally confirmed, so.....

But just think of the history in the ring that could happen if Flair was Stings partner. That would rock. And any of you people that say Ric Flair is another WWE reject, you are a fuckstick.

Anyway I doubt this will happen. Regardless of Flairs current relationship with the WWE, he is too close to Triple H for this to happen.

If anything, Flair will just be using this as a negotiating tactic. He probably wants to g back to Raw and I can see the WWE letting him for his final run.

There is no truth to the rumor that Ric Flair is signing with TNA. The current plan is for Booker T to be Sting's mystery partner at Genesis. Flair was in Florida last week with Maria doing autograph sessions through WWE.

Anyweis, if this ever were to happen then it would be a pretty big deal. There are i would say 4 guys who could elevate TNA's Status & get them exposure like no other. (Hogan, Flair, Rock, Austin). Also, who would take a "News Report" word instead of the word by the actually person himself!!! Sure some people lie, but why would he lie about that!

No disrespect to TNA, even though I don't really like them, I can't ever see Flair going to TNA. I can't see the WWE doing something so horrible to cause Flair to jump shit and go to TNA. I mean the guys pretty much done everything he can possibly to throughout the years with the WWE so why would he ever go to a promotion like TNA. Once the time comes for Flair to leave the WWE it will be the end of his wrestling days. At his age what would be the point of him leaving the huge stage of the WWE and going somewhere else? I know this rumor has already been proved false but I'm just saying this for future reference when another one of these bull shit rumors comes up.
