Holly/Rhodes... Tag Team?

As noted earlier today, the current plan is to have Cody Rhodes and Hardcore holly team up and fued with Cade & Murdoch over the Raw tag belts.

Now before everybody jumps on the bandwaggon of "Fire Holly" & "If it wasn't for Holly, Rhodes would be IC Material" i'd actually like to give my thoughts.

As much as others hate him, i quite like Holly. I wouldn't actually mind him being pushed. As for the tag team idea, i'm all in favour of it. With The Highlanders looking much less like jobbers & possibly a Rhodes/Holly tag team, i could possibly see a few tag team feuds over the next few months!

Afterall, didn't they do this with Orton briefly back in 2002, & look how he turned out!!!

I agree my fellow welsh fatal55. But if we have seen it before its obviously predictable. I say have rhodes turn on holly after they win and lose titles and have him being a cocky heel like orton was.

Me also hes just got that star shine on him already if you ask me. Th etypical jobber msuic and skinnyness. Give him 3 years he will have an awesome body and talent.

Does RAW really need another Tag Team? As much as I'd love to see Holly & Rhodes teaming up, they would be a whole lot more useful on SD! Although now SD! now has four Tag Teams (including J&F and MVP 7 Hardy), their Tag Team Division is fairly bland...

So I guess put Holly & Rhodes on SD!, and maybe even give them the WWE Tag Team Titles...

This is a simple and effective storyline...I'm perfectly fine with it. Holly is somewhat fresh since he has been gone for a while and I really think Rhodes has a lot of potential.

Also, with the value of the IC title being next to nothing, I don't think there is really anyone on the roster who is not IC title material.

This definately helps Rhodes more than it does to Holly. Holly knows that even after this minor push it wouldn't result in anything and he would probably go back to low card , but for Rhodes this might result in greater things.
