- Hardcore Holly could be on his way out of WWE soon. There's no new details on the reported incident that Holly was involved in last month that supposedly took him off the road and put him in some hot water with the company.

However, Holly is no longer being used and at 45 years old, he may not be brought back. Right now they have no plans for him anytime soon. The feeling among some if that a veteran like The Undertaker would have to go to bat for Holly one more time to get him brought back into something. Holly has a rep for working stuff with newcomers with an old-school mentality that they must prove they can survive. Holly did that with Brock Lesnar which ended up in Holly getting his neck broke.

The plan was to have Holly in a tag team feud with Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase but the feeling was that he wouldn't help get them over, only make them look bad. One source says that Holly's promo work that was shot to further the turn with Cody Rhodes was nixed because the interviews weren't good enough. Vince is said to be generally indifferent on Holly, in that he's kept him around forever like Funaki with no real plans for him.

I never knew he was 45... Anyways, I don't care, he does nothing.

I think Holly is underated. He is one of the toughest wrestlers in WWE today. He is a veteran. I think it would be a terrible shame if WWE just got rid of him. They could at least keep him on as a road agent or seome kind of backstage role if they don't want him on screen. he would be great for FCW, sure he may beat the crap out of the necomers but at least it's prparing them for the future.

I liked it when he got his first push against Lesnar. He actually had a world title shot at a PPV. I also liked him when he was in ECW, they should have left him there.

If he trains anybody I want it to be MMA guys, so he gets his ass royally handed to him every day. Sorry, I have no respect for anyone who works stiff, especially on people just trying to get into the industry. Brock was right to break his neck.

How someone with no charisma or personality stuck around this long is beyond me. Not to mention, he has the uncanny ability to make those around him seem boring as well.

He stayed around just long enough to almost ruin Cody Rhodes career.

He is one of a dying breed. He has a tough hard hitting style which is rare in the WWE. I don't think we will see somone with his style for years to come

Good. Hopefully the breed dies off. We don't need anyone making the younger wrestlers look bad, so you can keep your spot.

The greatest Holly moment was when Lesnar dumped him on his head. Thats what you get for sandbagging. Lesnar should have legit kicked his ass and the WWE should have fired him.

That pretty much sums up my thoughts on Holly.

I agree with Vince that his promo work against Rhodes/Dibiase probably would have been boring and wouldn't have brought them any heat whatsoever. I hated the Rhodes/Holly tag team. I like Dibiase and am not hating Rhodes as mcuh as I used to as I think he's developed some sort of a personality since turning heel.

So to sum it up hopefully Holly is done. I really don't think there's anything left for him to do in the WWE aside from basically being a jobber.

I'm really not a huge fan of Holly's, but I would have liked him to feud with Cody Rhodes. I think they could have done some good stuff with them.
