-- The original plan was for Hulk Hogan to turn heel Monday night, but was changed to Sting's heel turn.

-- There apparently aren't too many backstage missing former Knockout Traci Brooks. More shortly.

-- TNAWrestlingNews.com is reporting that Ric Flair was apparently not happy about having to go through with his match on Monday night. More shortly.

Wow I wonder what would have happened differently if Hulk tunred heel.

We would have seen him aligned again with Hall, Nash, and X-Pac for the millionth time and the reformation of the NWO, of course.

^This. Nostalgia sells tickets, right Russo?

Hey, don't knock it. WWE just did the same thing for the millionth time with the reformation of "DX." And it may not sell actual tickets, but I'm sure merchandise sales skyrocketed. Not sure if NWO merchandise would have the same success though.

It beats seeing Hogan and "Abyssamania".

Really?

Id like to see TNA go one week without turning someone heel or face. I can't even keep track of who's who and what's what anymore because its like they change their minds week in and week out. They need some consistent booking because they are a mess right now.

No shit Ric Flair should regret going through with the match. He had one of the greatest send-offs in wrestling history, and threw it away for a tag team match on free television against fucking Abyss.

^^^ No different to the four straight jobs he did to Hogan in Australia . He should have been equally pissed then as he is now, but you gotta do what you gotta do to pay the bills.

Do you really think Flair is that hard up for cash?

Is it a slap in the face of the fans who were so emotional over his retirement that he would go to another promotion and continue doing the job, or are people just happy to see the Nature Boy back in action?

I don't think, it's public knowledge. Flair tried selling his NWA title belt through HighSpots.com for 75 gs and some lawyers stepped in and shut him down because he owes money on loan payments so much that it's their property, not his. He also has liens on some other of his memorabilia such as his robes. He's broke, poor bastard.

Well he's got what like 3 alimony payments to make. Plus didn't he pour all his money into some financial business that went nowhere?

I know if I was Shawn Michaels I'd be pissed.

I don't know about you but I can't stand this "Abyssamania" crap. Abyss just sucks period. The "Monster" Abyss gimmick is better but that is so repetitive. No way in hell should he be a top star for TNA.

Well let's be real Ric Flair has never been known for his financial intelligence. Look at how much money he probably blew in the 80s and 90s on cars, jewelry, drugs, and other frivolous purchases.

He legitimately was the limosine ridin', jet flyin', kiss stealin', wheelin' dealin' WOOO!!! Son of a gun that he claimed to be back in the 80's.
